I think this is a great remix of the original "Grinder". Sure, it wouldn't be much all alone, but since it has a predecessor, together they make an amazing "couple", if I can say so.
As someone who started with red alert 3, I absolutely love this song before i knew that it had a predecessor. I like this one better than Grinder 1 as well. I really think its the fact that people are nostalgic to the older version that makes them overly critical of this one.
