BTW. Forging is when you heat the metal and hammer it into shape. Casting is when you pour liquid metal into a mold. Billet is when you machine it from a solid metal block.

I started playing last year with a starter set from Costco. Would love to get something like the 0211 but with my mortgage payments going through the roof at the moment I may have to wait a few years.

Do you have an 0211 in the PXG fitting cart to ensure the best shaft option is paired for each individual golfer?
What shaft stiffness are in the sets that you use in the reviews? Any Regular Shafts?
Yes we do. I currently play an X 105 modus

So far all of there Xtreme dark that ive played have lasted until now just fine.

The new 0211 casted are the same price as the previous Gen 3 forged, so my question would be which club would you think would be the better bargain? Is older high end technology or newer budget technology better in the same price range? Like you said the 0211 comes with a lot of the same technology as the Gen 5 which is substantially higher in price.
I used to play gen 3. The 0211 is by far much softer! That’s what you gotta get
I like what you said about you being an amateur testing clubs and not hitting it perfectly every time compared to golf pros reviewing them. their results aren't very relatable to us hackers. Is it possible that you were warming up when you were hitting the 0211 before going to the gen 5? you had 15 swings then moved on to the gen 5. maybe switching clubs every 5 swings would have a more accurate comparison? also, that lower ball speed with the gen 5 was because you had a swing that was way off. you had zeros which lowers your average.
I did warm up but didn’t put that on film, and I agree in some of our new reviews coming out. We are deleting the shanks out of the system
Hey, I just ran across your channel. Enjoying the reviews. I just got some lightly used 0311T Gen 3s. I was playing the 0211 ST blades previously, and they're fantastic clubs as well.
I noticed something about your numbers that might help, if you don't mind my pointing it out. Your launch angle is very low for an 80-mph 7-iron, mainly because the strikes are very consistently quite low on the face. This results in that low bullet ball flight, sub-30º land angle, and 20 yards of rollout. This may be for a variety of reasons involving wrist angles, low point, and angle of attack. But I think these clubs may simply be too short for you. You seem to be having to reach down a lot at address. Even a half-inch difference in shaft length can make a big difference. Something to fiddle with on a slow day. Okay, armchair golf pro session OVER! (Everybody's an expert on CZcams, am I right?) Keep up the good content.

@@embersgolf Callaway, Mizuno, Miura, Taylormade all forged CB irons. Man if you're going to put out content at least make sure you're giving out the correct info
