If anybody remember the 69 Franklin Route, RTA ran a flyer on Franklin Ave. during the morning and afternoon rush hour.

I remember that the 32 and the 9 did trips downtown

Back when RTA and Cleveland mattered, before the downfall starting in 2010. Now, both are a mess.

Back when NOMBL was independent, the 75 would go downtown weekdays and only to the rapid on weekends.

Use to when it was a NOMBL route, when NOMBL was merged in with RTA (like Maple Heights Transit as well), it still went downtown as RTA's promise to the riders of the route for 5 years.
Once that expired in 2010, RTA could do with the route what they wanted, which they did. The route became what was called a "feeder" route and "fed" passengers who wanted to go downtown to the rapid to continue on downtown.
Now it has been phased out all together thanks to the NextGen plan.

It's an enhanced video. The original was only 4:40 and included rail. This one is all bus and comes in at 6 minutes (5:45 without intro/outro)

George Dixion, Joe Calabrese and RTA board of trustees screw up RTA starting 2009-2010, it's been downhill every since, half the fleet and ridership lost, 69 million riders a year to 36 million presently.
