I don't understand this north-american custom/convention of venting the dryer lint to the outdoors. Clothes fabrics contain so much plastic-based synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon, acrylic, etc.) that the vented lint must be a great source of microplastics pollution in the environment, right in your back yard.
