The best console to join the DJ world, to start, and to continue. Even a cheap console if in the hands of a master, can blow millions and millions of people, because it is not only the console that counts, but also your skills. I was very happy with this console given me for Christmas, in June, there will be my first live event, in the largest disco in my city, and I will take this console with me. Pioneer has done a beautiful thing, it has given way to those like me who do not have many economic possibilities, to start and continue until they reach success, to be a DJ. Thanks to this console, I can cultivate my passion, make preload until I become good.

Might be a good product, but that is the cheesiest promo video I've seen since Cheddar Expo 2011.
Obviously they hired the producers who make Old Navy commercials then said, screw it...let's use their actors too! This pushes beyond cheesiness into the realm of embarrassing. It made me want to stick sharp objects into my eyeballs. Ugh.
So cheesy I had to open a bottle of red.
One must take note when purchasing the Pioneer DDJ-200, that whilst you may have a paid for account to stream music via Apple Music, or Tidal, one CANNOT record any set unless music is purchased.
Second factor, you may have downloaded your music via your Apple or Tidal accounts, BUT if you are in a remote location with no cellphone signal- only purchased tracks will be able to load.
Another key is that this controller does not have any output for any cables on the actual controller, the only output is via a split cable that connects to your headphones and your AUX cable.
If you have an IPhone, you cannot charge your phone while mixing unless you have an iPhone lightning to headphone Jack adapter.
If you are broadcasting via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker, one cannot use headphones.
There are many other reasons to consider saving rather for a Pioneer DDJ-400 an upward if you really want to get into dJing.

The products great imo. Say for example youre a young student, and you want to get into DJing. Denon controllers set u back more than a moths rent, but at a hundred quid this is far more affordable. As well as the fact you don't need a laptop, which is great for people like myself who only have a desktop. There are more angles to this than raw performance...

Back in 1998 I learnt to dj and scratch on a tec1200 turntables and 07 pro it was so expensive 😭 Thanks to Pioneer anyone can try their hand at DJing at low cost.

Pioneer DJ, you guys should do more marketing showing off the game changing fact you can use this to renegade DJ ANYWHERE like the beach bonfire, park picnic, festival campsite, etc. due to the standard USB power bank capability. Even experienced DJs can appreciate an ultra portable, inexpensive setup with no laptop, outlet, or expensive AC generator/battery needed. Just your phone/ipad, this, USB battery, and a decent portable speaker. Plus it has 3 band EQ where some other “portable” controllers do not!

Tenho um DDJ1000 e gostaria muito de um controlador autônomo seguindo seu layout, com a adição de tela 10 polegadas (Se for removível melhor ou alinhada ao equipamento), manter os jogs do mesmo tamanho e remover o display do jog, além de colocar entradas de pendrive, cartão de memória e HD externo.
Isso sim, seria um grande avanço para os Djs em geral.
No aguardo ansioso por essa resposta, ou infelizmente, pensar em migrar para o prime 4.

Traktor can use the cellphone (not necessary iPhone), with other applications like midihub. I think that if you want to initiate other DJs beginners, it's necessary put the gain sometimes. :/

This is a controller for new DJ. Who the hell can use this without gain (or trim) and browser knob? Bluetooth connection will cause lag (sometimes) and delay. How can this be "good"?

there's a start for everyone my friend. Some people want to get into it without braking the bank. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to play with music like a pro at least one in their life, this is a perfect entry point for kids and beyond. Keep it opened minded, we all know they got a answer for rane ready for the next show.

the way i see it, is that this controller is great for anyone just willing to try dj'ing, but honestly though, they will need to upgrade relatively fast if they want to actially start dj'ing
You can take this literally anywhere, to the beach/park/desert, no outlet or laptop needed
This is why Pioneer is exiting the DJ business! products are made for quick mixing solutions made extremely convenient. Talent not required.. Jk!
