Romo kept trying to get the ball to Owens, but frankly Glenn is a more valuable weapon (definitely in this game, and perhaps elsewhere too).

This game put the Payton Saints on the map. Totally shocking win. Especially after the Cowboys destroyed the Saints in pre-season. Watching that game, it looked like the Saints were heading for a #1 pick in the next draft and Dallas was going to be a serious contender.

Romo showed a lot of promise, but ultimately didn't live up to it. Some decent regular season stats, but not once even in the NFC title game. That's how Cowboy QBs are measured, fair or not.
Nfc title game is how cowboys qbs are measured? Lol dumb measurement you use, also a measurement I've never heard used. Romo played on the worse cowboys teams in franchise history, statistically the worst defense in cowboys history (third worse in nfl history even) worse run games, worst olines. Yet the reason why Romos records were never losing records was because of him. Any logical fan would take Romo over any cowboys qb, but I would take that 90s team over any cowboys team.
If team accomplishments is the only argument you have against a qb, than you have no argument.

Guys like Danny White and Tony Romo gave it their all, made the Cowboys fun to watch and relevant for a good while. I guess there's those spoiled, entitled 'Boyz fans who only measure their qbs by old Super Bowl trophies.
Aikman was great but could he do what Warren Moon did on any given system? Moon was so great he created Pro Bowl players, like in 1993 when some plug-in RB named Gary Brown got 1,000 yds rushing because Moon mastered the field. Moon went from 4,000 yd seasons on the Run-N-Shoot offense with the Oilers then to the Vikings where he got two more, 4,000 yd seasons in a Pro-Set offense shattering Fran Tarkenton's records.
Aikman had specimens like Emmitt-n-Irvin and an unbelievably great o-line and heavy D. Aikman deserves his place in the Hall but sometimes we have to consider all the angles.
