Just went on the largest internet expedition to find this. I used to mindlessly play the plate section. Quite honestly, I think I just liked to spam click and break them. I also remember that hole in the ground in the first game scene as well as the treasure place and ocean scene building thing. This was my peak.

myabandonware has this! My dad brought this home as a souvenir from his trip to the States when I was about eight or so and since then, I had mermaids and especially The Little Mermaid as a special interest well into my mid-teens. I just love Ariel's personality and how sweet this story is...

OMG I used to LOVE this game! I remember one year for my birthday I was given a gift set with this game along with 2 others, I think one was a princess game and I can't remember the other! The set came as a jewelry box.

I wish there was a beauty and the beast animated storybook computer game. Or they can call it "Belle's Story Studio", so it can be like Ariel's Story Studio, where we can watch and play just like disney animated storybook game, and we can write the story ourselves. They should do the same with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladdin and Jasmine, The Princess and the Frog, and others.

Well.......... I feel like a big idiot. Every time I played this game, I never knew how to get rid of the shark! I didn't know about the pepper or the anchor trap, each time when Flounder is stuck in the shark's mouth, I'd just go to the next page! & I wasn't great at reading back then so the little instruction manuel didn't do much! (& I never read through those anyway)
