eeehh, they are trying to impress with their brand of humor and his emotional intro confession-speech-song, but it just looks kind of like what you'd expect in the 90s with "Everyone's free to wear sunscreen" and some Weird Al. I am listening to his intro where he almost speaks and I see his facial expression, but I am just not believing his face has sincerity about it, but rather like making fun of someone or some thing. Its not that it is inherently "bad" or unfunny. Its just not very original to do this kind of overly political, maybe , maybe not, ironic statement song. The 60s and the 70s did it, and they did it better. Well, the 90s and the 00s musicians did it. Just because a valid social statement is being made or suggested at doesn't necessarily equate to a good overall effect.
Wonderful song, amazing performance! Like
