A great phone. Im a samsung user but i have only words of thankness for this model. Bravo Xiaomi!
I ja sam samsung korisnik.
I'm buying this phone only because it doesn't have a notch.
I have it, that's why I bought it!
@@AngelMorales-ko9qj does it support arcore?

I have a K20 Pro and I can say that my experience so far has been awesome especially for the price. A really great phone.
How good is the battery life?
@@craftedpixel it's good.. using around 17 hours including 2 hour pubg and 4 hours CZcams and some photos. Still currently on 52%
Do you live in the States? If so, how's the phone working for you?

@@craftedpixel The battery life is truly great. It can charge up to 50% in half an hour and that can last you a whole day with normal usage.
Watching this on my 9t, loving every minute of it.
i have mi 9t too and this is amazing phone the screen really nice the phone smooth and the battery amazing also great camera

I'm really thinking about buying this phone the regular 9t. And like you, every single person I spoke about it, that has one, told me to go for it... So much for so little... that's what I'm looking for
Do you live in the States? If so, how's the phone working for you?
even the ads too ??
Finally k20 pro review 😍😍 was waiting you guys !!
The only reason I am not upgrading is because I don't want to lose the only phone in the market without a notch. This is still the flagship. Offers a lot.
Angie, you mention at 1:15 a micro SD card slot. I believe the phone doesn't come with it.
6:57
It doesn't
@Anmol Karki I don't think you get micro SD slot on any variant (that's my point).
@Anmol Karki I have the 6GB Mi 9T and it doesn't have MicroSD slot. I don't think the pro has it either
It's a dual SIM slot not microSD
Easily one of the best review for completeness and details on this smartphone. Congrats, I didn't know your channel but I'm likely going to follow it from now
Agree.
Install gcam on this phone and u will forget about his stock camera
Or you can install Open Camera, that is a great app. What do you think ?

i have this phone just a lil over a year now and its still smooth af

Watching this on my redmo k20 pro, love it!
Very well presented, thank you. I'm going to purchase the pro version thanks to your review. Angie, from one talkshow professional to another, you are one of the best presenters I've seen on CZcams.

i just bought mi9 t recently and its really smooth for gaming😁
It also has dual gps.
Can you kindly do a camera test with the gcam apk?

Hey Huawei 😀
She is wrong about headphone jack, the sound is indeed Stellar (Hifi) Audiophile quality head phone jack, if paired with good ear phone, it will be awesome

So smooth review
I’ve been using it for two months. I love it because it’s as good, maybe even better, than the iPhone XR, at a third of the price. One gripe, though: It can’t forward notifications to my Fitbit Charge 3. I understand the issue’s with Fitbit, rather than the phone.
bruh i never go to apple stores, but i just did and the iphone 11 looks UGLY af with those chunky bezels
Full hd super amoled alone makes it better than xr lmao.
The telephoto lens does work, it's just that the 2x setting doesn't use the telephoto lens. You have to switch to portrait mode or the pro mode and select telephoto to use the lens.
How it compares with the Lenovo Z6 pro?
I'm not sure which one to buy.
a 6.1 ich would make this the most compact fullscreen phone 😍
Coming from iphone xs my god thie phone is qlmost the same in my experience as a casual user
I have watched dozens of K20 Pro / Mi 9T Pro videos on CZcams, but when GSMarena upload a video with Angie, I do not think twice! 😆😆😆
Awesome! I've just unboxed this phone. More to come. A few years back I had a Xiaomi redmi note 3 and it worked fantastic. After using the Nokia 8 (and being semi disappointed) I went for a Xiaomi again. Depending on the Nokia 9.1 performance, I'll stick with this phone. So far I'm loving it!
Happy for you sir, hope it serve you well
Samsung and Apple both cheats customer with price tag..
Go buy Nokia 3310 lol
U are an shit with shitty words
Apple does but Samsung delivers yes it could be 100 or 200 dollars cheaper but that's just business.
I never buy iPhone again
@Tyler you pay for the brand name. when u buy samsung or apple as a non techie u dont care about specs or cat in a bag phones that may or may not work as intended. I always nought best value/performance phones, like og opo etc. but now i need a phone that will just work and Samsung just works for me. im yet to have a bad experience. Whereas my Lg, Opo, razer, htc all had hardware issues ( yellow tint on screen, dodgy gps, random reboots and throtling, wifi antena). Samsung and Apple offer qc that none of the other phone makers seem to match.

ive held my s7 for long time now, still does 4hrs or on screen time, looking at this phone makes me wanna really upgrade. the oled screen and the 855 chipset are the selling point. im wondering is the 4000mah battery good enuff for it ?

Agreed! Got my k20 pro on Amazon $425. Worth every penny in the US on ATT network. Loving it, although I do wish it has dual speakers.
I know Im 4yrs late but, Im totally in love with this host.
I'm watching this videos on my K20 Pro😂
I am suddenly interested in the 9t pro, due to the direction Xiaomi has taken the Mix line. I'm still using a Mix 2, and while its still speedy for my needs, the battery has been through ~700 cycles or so, which isn't doing any favors for the battery capacity that was already relatively low 3300mah when it was new. Nowadays its dipping into 2XXXmah territory due to wear.
This or the new "Pro Premium" variant seems like a more natural upgrade for me. The Mix Alpha looks cool, but I'm not in the market for $1800 phones....
Hi, you say it has a micro SD card slot on the bottoms. Everyone's spec sheets list the expandable storage as a "No". Isn't the tray for dual sims?
Can you do all the upcoming reviews, please?

i thought the 855 drain more battery than the 730 ?
@@MeazurAli why would it? 855 is one of the most efficient
@@huzaifaqader2273 in the past flagship SoCs seemed to burn more energy than middle class or even buget SoCs while doing "nothing" - maybe that finally changes now?!?
For the average user there is no need to have flagship SoCs anymore, as middle class SoCs are fast enough for average usage:
SD 632-636-660...675, Helio P60-65-70...,
Exynos 960x, 961x .
its not correct this endurance test is shit one youtubers compared the mi 9t and the pro model and the more efficient 730 take the lead with 40 mins more screen on time
@@yoavzehavi8793 battery drain tests differ, and GSMA does not use mobile network for video and surfing... so there _are_ and _will_ _be_ differences in test results of course...
Looking for an oled curved screen mid-range phone. So far my research narrowed to Vivo IQOO Neo 855, Vivo Z5, and this. Which one is to get?
Does anyone know how big of a difference the processor makes? I only really would play stuff like Hearthstone or Gacha Games with it, the Mi 9T should suffice for that, right?
If only it was pure stock Android and had dual speakers, it would've been my next phone.
Then OnePlus 7 is your best choice. It is more expensive, but the cheapest I could think of that's up to your preferences and closest (no, even slightly better) overall to Mi 9T Pro.
Stop saying I'm 'Angie from GSM Arena' you'll say from now on "I'm everyone's crush here"

pro has faster charging, super amoled vs amoled, longer battery life, faster processor which gives better photo processing. Been looking at these for several weeks. initially wanted the Mi 9T but swapped to the pro due to the battery life and better photos. Just need the right price...
wrong. Screens are the same on both. Processors differ but photo difference is marginal. Pro has 64fps in 4k and a bit better lens but both are the same phones except you better go with pro if you game, otherwise there is no difference.
It's the same phone, the k20/k20 pro is the Chinese version and mi 9t/mi 9t pro is the global version.
@@iamthepotato4312 k20 & k20 pro isn't Chinese only version, we have that in india
@@minde28383 Allow me to clarify. I'm looking at the Mi 9T vs the Mi 9T Pro (the K20 is not sold in my country), where one has amoled, the other super amoled. I'm happy with my research and if you'd like to disagree then that's fine - we all have our own conclusions.
@@Yet_Another_Steve no no Steve. Check other sources. Both super amoleds. And faster processor does not gives better photo processing, it might bet I doubt it is becaus faster cpu. Photos just slightly better because sensor in pro version very slightly better. In real life it makes no difference. It is the same photos. If you feel difference it's because you want to feel difference but reality is that it's the same phone. The only difference you can feel is in heavy games, you get more fps and less stuttering, but I'm not a gamer.
Will this work fully in the usa?
Does anyone know when the Xiaomi Mi 9t Pro will be available in the UK through paying monthly by Carphone Warehouse, EE, Vodafone etc.?
Just one thing I would like to say, the snapdragon 730 is more powerful than 835, so the 730 is really a 840 to be more practical and precise, so is not a weak procesor at all, I bought it, actually i have both, pro and regular, and you just see the difference when you are like gaming or some little difference in speed opening a web or scrolling but just por miliseconds, everything else are very similar, I have a poco and they are like twins in many process, if the difference in price are like 50 dollars it would be a good change but more than that i would prefer 730 version overall.
In terms of CPU, yes. But what about the GPU? So far no mid-range chipsets have the same GPU power as SD 835 and above. The gap level between mid-range and high-end is HUGE. Last year I thought SD 636 was more than enough to endure most games at med settings, but now it starts falling down. Where SD 835 still perform solid to this date. From there I learned it's more worth it to have high-end chipset for long-term usage, rather than top mid-range chipset which can only last about 1 year or 2 at max. But this is only the case if you're like me, who likes doing intensive graphical performance. If not, then 730 is a no brainier choice.
@@svd355 Not necessarily, if course it depends of the screen, bad habits like charging the phone while are you playing, leave the screen to much time with a high bright, the brand, the materials, there is a lot of things that you have to consider, for example I use to play two hours hard games with a Moto z play 2, no problems there, and playing in a Samsung s8 the screen turns pink and that's was not a problem was the poor battery, so what's the point?, To have a good balance, and I'm talking that this brand and phone got it, you can play pugb and fortnite perfect, I use to have also thr redmi note 5 and i played back then heavy games without any problems, still working all the phones, so I can assure you that is rare that a phone just for GPU has a better or long life use, it depends of more than a simple characteristic, besides I can assure also that some games yes, you can use a 855 plus and play just right now fluidly, and maybe you can think that you can play new ones for years and, you just can't, because new games will be heavier. so is not a great deal.
@@fulangator Recent games required higher system requirements eventually. If you asked me, SD 855 can last much longer compared to any other mid-range SoC. Sure there are many more aspects to be considered for a long-term usage, but specifically for the Mi 9T case, I think it's more worth it to choose the Pro version over the normal one. It has exactly the same material and build quality, plus an SoC that can last more.
@@svd355 Oh yeah i`m agree, but i`m just saying that is not a bad processor, if you have the oportunity to buy the pro version of course it`s a better option, but some people just want a good procesor to play not to often, and no paying for something that they don`t want to or need to use, of course is not the best, but this one is a good choice for that people who are not heavy players, or change the phone every year or two.
@@fulangator exactly. Some heavy users like me would find the Pro version a definite choice. But the casual one will be pleased with the 730, and save some extra cash for the screen protector and a premium case, or better on other important needs. SD 730 is by far not a bad SoC, instead it is the top mid-range SoC on the market right now. In terms of power processing you won't notice the difference between the 855 in light day-to-day use on apps.
64GB are enough if you back up all your photos with Google Photos and stream music and video.
Where can we buy it?
Will the Pocophone brand be discontinued? Looks like.
I like the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro, but the answer l absence of a microSD card slot kinda ruins it for me, so if I were buying the Pro this I'd go with the 256GB config. I'd much rather get the Mi 9T though because I don't need screaming performance, but sadly it only tops out at 128GB.
I am a simple man,
I see Angie with her cap, I click
Youre weak. 👈🏿👀
That's not microSD slot, this phone doesn't support expandable storage. And for that price you can get last year's flagships with better... almost everything.
All the countries don't get the old devices at a lesser price
You might get better cameras from last year's model phones but the new features such as screen fingerprint readers are still relatively new, so I'd this is still a a pretty good bargain.
@@powerfultoa7 But I don't see what's wrong with old fingerprint readers on the back. This is a gimmick to make new phones feel more advanced.
You also get better display (though probably with a notch), better speaker, 3,5mm jack quality depending on the phone, expandable storage, aforementioned cameras in the front and the back, probably less trashy Android skin (if any) and I guess some other stuff that doesn't come to mind right now.
The only better thing is processor. And there's almost no difference in day to day usage between top tier Snapdragons in past 3 generations.
@@heretic124 Hehe well I'm the kind of guy who absolutely won't accept a phone with a notch, I just thought that for the quality of this screen this is still really good value that with a couple of software tweaks such as installing GCam can make this worthwhile
Yeah,that is a great alternatives
All games runs in high settings with this beast and it doesn't even overheats! The only prob that I have till now is that I didn't have found a global gcam to use...
Needs a lot of updates to be perfect though...
My last few phones have been off contract and Samsung flagships, s6, s7 and the s8+, I was spending £700+ on the phones. I was due a new phone but really didn't want to spend almost 1000 pounds on a phone so purchased the 8gb/256gb version of the k20 pro, and well its impressed me a lot, I know it's not got some of the flagship perks but it competes really well, and there's nothin else for its price to spec ratio in its range
