Enter es el primer álbum de estudio de la banda de metal sinfónico holandesa Within Temptation grabado en 1996.1 El año anterior habían editado una demo en casete con el mismo título y 4 de las canciones que contendría Enter, pero interpretadas de diferente forma. Con este cd empezaron su ahora larga carrera musical. Este CD sólo tuvo éxito en Holanda y tiene como importancia que fue su comienzo y el tipo de música que utilizaron para su segundo álbum "Mother Earth", aunque de menor potencia. Este CD sólo contiene ocho canciones (aunque de larga duración) a diferencia de los demás, que contienen once, sin contar los bonus tracks de las ediciones premium y limitadas.

Enter is a classic doom album, the 90's were the best decade of metal in my opinion
Exactly! The music was raw, real and simple and by simple I mean the studio recording mixes weren't overproduced. Today's music, including Within Temptation and many other great bands from the 1990s when it comes to writing new music is overproduced. Way too many layers added to the music meaning that the live performances have to add alot of the studio recording mixes to a live show and also way too much reliance on computer software plug in tools which if you hear in Sharon's vocals in her brand new music with Within Temptation being autotuned. It isn't heavily autotuned like what is going on in mainstream pop music but it is there in the new music. Never ever thought that a great vocalist like Sharon would autotune but many other great vocalists of the past are also using autotune in today's music. Hate this current trend in music and hope that a 1990s revolt happens again because their was too much overproduction in music in the later 1980s with the music and the look and the 1990s was a revolt against that crap. Need a revolt against this current crap.

@@midnight-2021 Wintersun's Time album has at least 100 layers of sounds mixed together, but the songs on the album are absolutely genius, in both composition and sound. You should try them out. Not saying that overproducing and overmixing is a good thing overall, it just has to be done the correct way so one can genuinely appreciate the outcome.
The best years for sure. Until 2001 or something, to me. Everything has been done here, what followed has never reached the same level of creativity.

@@berenicemendozarivera7799 conocí está canción en el 2010/11 por hay y se me quedó muy grabada,pero no sabía su nombre así que a lo largo de lo años la fui buscando e incluso pensaba que era de otras bandas y no conocía muchas en aquella época, hasta que hace 1 año al fin pude saber el nombre de que banda era la canción y que puedo decir se convirtió en una de mis favoritas,y CREO que por aquella época en la que escuché por primera vez la canción,su música ya no pegaba tanto
