Lol I was 13 when the game came out, so all the other kids were playing Call of Duty, but I wasn’t allowed to play call of duty even at 13. (I was allowed to play Halo though and I did throughly enjoy the game) I was actually playing more games like Disney Infinity because my parents of course allowed me to play anything with “Disney” attached to it. I am thankful that my dad bought me this game because he knew I was bored. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure even the 3 starter pack playsets gave me, and the online Toy Boxes that other players created. I miss the old experience so much. I still play the games on Steam because they still sell them, and they come with every character and playset for the games, so I can still spend hours playing the game. I do miss Disney adding new content to the game though and I wish they would give Disney Infinity a second chance. They really made a huge mistake ending this great game series.

I still remember the day in 2013 I got the 1.0 starter pack for my birthday. I was so excited and happy. This game changed my childhood and it gave me so much joy. I also remember watching toybox tv on the official Disney infinity yt channel. I was so sad when they announced that Disney infinity is no more. Im still collecting characters and power discs till this day. I am really lucky that i got my hands on a Peter Pan prototype. Disney Infinity will always be in my heart❤️. Thanks for the video, i really liked it.

It would definitely be interesting if Disney would reach out to a third party developer, license the properties to them, and Distribute the game. I miss Disney’s game division because I thoroughly enjoyed Warren Spector’s Epic Mickey games and Disney Infinity. Sucks they decided to close both Junction Point and Avalanche Software. Avalanche was resurrected and purchased by WB, and they did make a Cars 3 game though. Disney is focusing mainly on content for Disney Plus and Theme Park expansions now. I just wish they would give game development another try. There’s just not really a market for games based on Movies and TV shows anymore besides the EA Star Wars games. Mainly just continuations of pre existing IP for game studios. At least Square Enix just gave us another Kingdom Hearts game this past year. When I was playing that game, it made me miss Disney Infinity even more because that was the closest we got to another Disney Infinity game. Just more Disney and Final Fantasy infinity lol, but hey that game shows that there still is hope for a future in gaming for Disney.

This was and still is one of my favorite childhood games
I loved this game when I was a kid! I was 10 when Disney Infinity 1.0 came out and I played that everyday. I got 2.0 and 3.0 And bought over 70 characters with a lot of money probably hundreds of dollars. I played this game roughly for 3 years 2013-2016. Man I loved it so much and I was upset when I heard it shut down. I’m not gonna lie I was a hardcore fan of this game back in the day.

I think i was about 7. My parents got my brother and I the 1.0 pack for Christmas, and we played for HOURS upon HOURS. We own every game. When I was in 5th grade, a friend came over and we played the 2.0 pack- I think it was that one. She loved it so much that she convinced her mom to buy it. I'm starting high school in the fall. I still have all the games, chatacters and set pieces downstairs. I think I'm gonna go play Disney Infinity.

The posibilities were endless with a game with this much franchises. It was under used by Disney. Between having to buy physical toys for character (a part that I love, but could contribute to people don´t wanting to buy the game) to the under use of characters in other franchises, they just went short

Disney found that the first 2 did well but disney infinity 3.0 didn't do well because of the toys that the game had lost money for disney and it leads to the announcement that disney infinity 4.0 was cancelled for good

WOW what a great video. I only learned about Disney Infinity 6 month after Disney cancelled the franchise. Nevertheless I was able to buy every figure from this game and almost 75 percent of the Power Discs. This game has still so much potential and it´s so much fun to play. There is still a big community for it, a lot toybox creators who share there knowledge via CZcams. I myself created a working Stargate for switching through different toyboxes. The possibilities are still endless, the onyl thing which can limit you is your imagination.
If they changed it from toys to life to an actual games with maybe some dlc and everything needs to be unlocked I'd buy it
This is exactly what they should do in the future. Same gameplay with more and better features, and instead of toys, dlc. I love how Ubisoft went full dlc with Starlink at the end. Make better and longer playsets using characters from all the franchise. They should re-release 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 in one package with everything in it digital (Like the Gold Version on Steam) too see if there's still interest in the concept.
I used to play this on the 360, but when I upgrade to a ps4 I stopped playing and got rid of all of my characters. Flashback to about a week ago I found out that the game was on the ps4, since I didn't have any more characters I got the game and 2 character to go with it. Even though there's no more online I still have a blast playing the game and I know disney list alot of money making these games but I hope they can find it in the kindness of there heart to make this game return. It was my childhood.
The biggest problem is they got the amino treatment. And demanded $14.00 for one figure. Stuff like lightsaber blades or weapons easily broke off if they fell off a shelf.
This was a great video! I had 1.0 for the Xbox 360 back when it came out in 2013 and only had the starter pack lol, but I wasn’t able to get a Xbox One until 2017. I was already late to getting 2.0 and 3.0. Now that I’ve had some time in quarantine and I fortunately still have a job as a delivery driver, I purchased the 3 games on Steam. Man have I missed Disney Infinity. I wish I could still access the servers for Toy Boxes other people have made. I am glad that now I have access to all the characters and play sets to play with simply by buying the games. There’s still many hours of content to play because of the access to all the playsets and I am thankful for that. There is also access to the Vanilla Toy Box Adventures, which are kind of mini playsets. I also am still having fun just creating my own new stuff in the Toy Box. It’s great that you can still buy the games for the PC and play the games without the servers, which is still many hours worth of content.
I found out about DI when I purchased Minnie Mouse at a DG store for $12. March 2017. I have since purchased all characters, toybox crystals and discs for me and 3 of my grandkids. I purchased game discs with bases for 2 xbox 360's, 4 ps4's and one wii. Disney may have thought they lost money...SMH.

No. Disney needs to give us Disney Infinity 4.0. I want the game, I don’t care how bad Disney Infinity 3.0 was or how much money you lost on it Disney. Pick up where you left off on the production on Disney Infinity 4.0. Put the Regular Edition on Wii U, Xbox One/Series X/S, PS4/5, & Switch. And then put the Gold Edition of 4.0 on Steam. I wanna have Disney Infinity 4.0 on my Wii U & PC. I want that part of my childhood back & I won’t take No or Maybe for an answer. Revive Disney Infinity. I won’t stop rebelling against you decision to cancel such a wonderful video game Disney until I get this wish. Disney Infinity inspired me to use my imagination & in a lot of ways it still does just that. I still play Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Superheroes on my computer & Wii U. GIVE US DISNEY INFINITY 4.0!!!!!!

It makes me sad that I never really appreciated games like this. I was in middle school I think around the time I had these games and I always used to play with my brother at my grandmothers house who had a PS2 and PS3. I remember them but I don’t feel that same nostalgia that people clearly felt when they say it changed their lives or shaped their childhood. It’s crazy to me when people say they played these games when they were 3,4,5 and still remember because lots of old Xbox 360, early PS, Wii, DS games I have fond memories of but I never felt that connection. Like I remember playing Ben 10 on the DS and super Mario Galaxy with my dad on the wii, but looking back it doesn’t feel so significant. The only one close would be Halo because I made some good friends playing that when I got my first game very late into the franchise which was Halo 4 on the 360 when I was in 7th grade.

I think all the figures except for a couple kind of became pegwarmers. That's why it got cancelled.

NO JOKE in July of 2016 I paid a whopping $65 for the Disney infinity 3.0 star wars pack. A Week later the price went from $65.00 to $1.98

@@TheDisneyPastor actual people that worked on disney's infinity person has said other wise since then, revealing the only real reason that it was cancel was cause like with their good series on finney channel which only usually gets 3 season now days, is cause they get bored with it

Im glad they still sell all the Disney Infinity GOLD EDITION games on Steam for extremely cheap and it's Gold Edition so you get all the characters for free and toy boxes
