40hs mate. 50lb castaway braid and 50-60lb leader.

Hey mate
nice break down of gear used throughout the year and targeted species in Moreton Bay
with your vibes on the GH you can remove standard hook sets and replace with a set of assist hooks to the belly only of soft vibe , it won't impede its action but will accommodate for the swiping bites 👍 look forward to seeing what 2023 brings on the deck for you mate

I put a big single on the belly, which helps but still much lower land rate compared to plastic. It’s mostly the damage to the fish that I worry about as they tend to take them deep sometimes.

What size jig heads are you using for the jew fish in the brassy River. Weight and hook size. I think you said bkk 3/4 to 1 once but what hook size.

Yeah 3/4 and 1oz with a 6/0 in the BKK Jigheads. Super strong hook that is very rust resistant imo.
