Not entirely. The park looks mostly the same as in the 1920s except for the baseball diamonds and such.

Woleman began use as a concert venue in 1966, Beer companies sponsored the concerts and because of that the cops let you bring your own beer to this area.

It would have been nice if you had pointed out spots i movie and then a quick look at the filmed part. Like where Maid and Manhattan when she is in the park with her son or the place where President Clinton was jogging in the park in the movie Definitely, Maybe.

Sheep Meadow was the location were Gordon Gecko punches Bud Fox and Tavern on the Green is where Bud turns over the hidden tape recorder to investigators that incriminates Gordon Gecko in the Wall Street movie Also, Felix Unger and Oscar Madison can be seen near the Plaza hotel and dancing around the maypole at Sheep Meadow during the opening of The Odd Couple TV show. The Great Lawn is where Marlo Thomas flies a kite during the opening of "That Girl" TV show. Many Woody Allen films were shot in Central Park. Bow Bridge and the jogging path at the Jackie Onasis reservoir is in countless films and TV shows. John Lennon did a music video, "Mind Games"on the mall, at the band shell, the zoo etc. Oct 9 is his birthday. I've been in two TV shows at Bethesda fountain. Who wasn't? Lol..
