- We are doing something we've never done before. This is our version of the final round of a tournament. We all start at a number under par based on our handicaps and from there we play our own ball for 18 holes. Is a 25 shot lead enough for Trent to win the first ever Important Tournament? Being realistic about your skill level is important for shit like this and the content suffers as a result. If you’ve golfed for awhile you’ve met a couple “10 handicaps” that can’t get off the tee box and they just piss u off
You’re not wrong - it would also be a massive boost for popularity for Riggs. Humility is something every golfer needs. I don’t pretend I’m something I’m not if I’m paired with a group as a solo. Nobody cares.
Riggs' delusion that he's as good a golfer as Frankie is always entertaining, him and Trent need to do a 1 on 1 at this point.
Frankie has to be the most improved CZcams golfer. I hadn't watched anything from these guys in probably at least a year and his game is so different. Swing looks great, making good decisions, solid short game. Finally one of these guys that gets to live all our golf dreams is actually improving his game. Well done, Frankie

Riggs handicap situation used to annoy me but now I just find it funny that he screws himself right out of the gate in a format like this
It must be crippling to play golf in front of people and struggle like Riggs does. Maybe it's time to level set. They have access to the best coaches. Let's get Riggs set up w a coach and grind hard on his game for 6 months. Then update his handicap and do a breaking 90 series. I would watch every episode of that series and root hard for him to improve and love golf again!
By the looks of his swing, he'd shave 10 strokes just by stretching
He had a long lesson with George Gankas a few years ago (it's on YT) and everything George told him went in one ear and out the other. At this point I'm starting to think Portnoy forbids him from lessons for content purposes 😅

Kudos to Frankie. I've been critical of his game in the past but he has come a long way. Swing is solid, short game, chipping is much better. Putting still a work in progress ( more mental in his case) but game is solid. Definitely a single digit player 3-6 range
