Great review. Could you let me know if it's compatible with MacBook Pro M2?
Thank you.
Thank you sir. I got two during Black Friday. I hope you can make another video on how to calibrate it.
Agree 100%, my pictures and look much better shown on my iPad than my current 27 monitor. I like the joystick controller in the front of the monitor, instead under the monitor like my current monitor, definitely time to upgrade. Thanks for this video.
Which is best printer for home or small photo studio use
Is 1000:1 contrast ratio enough for a good viewing experience?
My cheap IPS used to show blacks as grey, which used to irritate me a lot.
Thank you . Very informative .
A useful review. Thank you. I received a 329CRV today replacing a 32" Benq which was starting to die. I will only use it for Content Creation (I am one of the Adobe Community Experts and have been so since 2009). I'd like a better understanding of the USB-C function, specifically about driving it with a MacBook Pro M2 Pro, although the monitor is mainly used with a Windows 11 workstation, but you have put me on the right track I'm thinking. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. You said the monitor has 2 x Display Ports, is this one upstream and one downstream. I need to use a Display Port as input from my Tower PC and want to daisy chain (output) from the PA279CRV to a second monitor. Thanks Dave
Thanks for the review. In order to adjust the height of the monitor when it is on the stand, can you just push it up and down, or do you need to press a knob somewhere to lock it in to place?
It’s friction based. No release buttons. 👍
@@PIXELVIILAGE Thanks for the quick response and the great video!
Hi, can you please share the product buying link (India) ? I can't find it anywhere on the web.
dear radha,
monitor is only one of the factors in the color conundrum. the OS, the application that displays the picture and most importantly the preference of the viewer decides if the colour is "right". I can claim that my OS gives better color saturation, sharpness, contrast and hue than your OS. the perception of color is different for different people. I guess that is why different people prefer different overall color temperature in a picture. many people see color differently in right eye and the left. and to add to confusion, there is the color of the "day light" in which you view the final print. the human eye does not have a fixed white balance. it changes even with the mood. you remember, in the black and white days, we used to crib about the tone of the black and white print. a few extra minutes in the fixer gave a different tone to the print. some liked it sepia, some liked it slightly blueish, some even went for gold tone! our eyes have great latitude in vision and yet it is not perfect. after all we can see only a limited range of colors. How many levels of grey can we see? Ultimately there is no such thing as a perfect color and system.
Can you plug in a USB stick or USB-C and launch a video file using only the monitor itself, no computer?
Is it possible to do hardware calibration?
In offline classes kya aap only photography ke related sikate ho yah video editing ke baare mein nhi batayenge aur fees kitna hey❤
Is this 8-bit color being marketed as a 10-bit monitor?
Is 32" inch making more sense with 4k?
In 2024, which would be a better buy: a 27-inch 4K ProArt display or a 32-inch 2K ProArt display?
i have thhe Asus PA279CV is it worth it
What is the SW I can use to calibrate the monitor with X-rite, ASUS does not include this monitor in the supported devices in the software they provide for color calibration. Thanks
You can use i1 Display Pro with i1 Profiler software which is a free download from XRite.
i got it a few days back and have been using it with the macbook pro m3 pro 14 inch. It has greenish tint to it in the tec709 mode and also in adobe rgb mode. Any fixes?
SAME. We have the same laptop as well. Had it replaced with a new one but the green tint persists. Ended up replacing it with the CV.
@@eldricarpilleda what did you replace? The monitor?
@@pavelchatterjee4424 Yes. Both CRV I tried were brand new yet they have the exact same green cast. I suggest just returning it and replace it with a CV model. They're practically the same. CV model has good colors on mb m3 pro. I don't wonder why no one else is complaining about it.
or just calibrate it using calibrating hardware but that defeats the purpose of it being a "proart" model.
Bought this and instantly got disappointed. There's a massive tint shift to green. Had it replaced with another brand new unit. Identical green shift. I ended up replacing it with a CV version. I don't know why is that considering they are calibrated at factory.
CV version is better?
Hello from Portugal,
i would like know when i use DP out to another screen if the computer can identify as a screen nº 2 or clone the imagem ?
Sorry! Didn’t understand the question fully!🙏
What I mean is : If i'm using the displayport out to connect with another screen, i can use independently both monitors.
Thanks in advance for your response
I´m thinking about buying this one for work and ocassional gaming. Is the 60fps limit really only thing bad for gamers?
Just so you know the max fps you can get in a game is the hertz of the monitor times two so the max here is probably 120,but no you can still play games very well on a low hertz monitor, most of the time it’s about skill not equipment
I came here for product infos and got Jeff Goldblum vibes on top. :D
