- Andrew bought a 1979 C10 Square Body as his new shop truck. This is part 4 of this build for what we are calling V1. We already have ideas for V1.5! In this video, we get an update of the work Andrew has been doing including interior, air management placement, tank relocation, and engine maintenance. We relocate the stock tubs upward to allow room for the new 20" smoothie wheels to retain the stock look with additional clearance. It was great to have the first drive since 2001, and see it dragging frame and making sparks.

Looks sick, granddaddy would be proud to see his old c10 in cool new look

Thank you!

Subscribed brother I dig this rig
I appreciate the subscription!
Seat option for bigger fellas. Me being 6'-5" switched mine out of an extended cab seat from a newer Chevy. The seat has a smaller profile so you gain some decent leg room. It's very easy to mount using the stock seat sliders and you also retain the forward tilt. Any of that new seat side action you were displeased with is also hidden by the stock retractable seatbelt setup.
That's a good idea! What year did you use?
I found the other day why my brake light was on! I see yours is too haha. Proportion valve was the culprit
Good call!
Great video. Just want to say thanks for not dropping the F bomb ever two min. Dropped at great fab channel today for that reason . Two weeks in a row F bomb ever 2 min and GD ever other one. Dropped him and added you. Thanks for clean content.
Thank you for joining! We try not to be to vulgar!
This documentation of the *best* part of a build- having a functioning + driving custom⚡️⚡️
Exactly!
Hey guys.. you 2 are great.. my question is where did you guys get the step notch from? I’m wanting to do the same to mine,! Thanks guys.. keep it up
Extensive metal works! Thanks!
Truck is turning out great. Love that green color. 👍
Thank you! From what we have been told it's a '79 only color which makes it even cooler!
Great build, 👍 I was wondering where you got your paddle valves from?
Thank you! I believe they came from switch suspension.
Such a cool truck!
Thank you! Just trying to ball on a budget 😂
Great job! Really enjoy these videos!

Thank you! We're in north Georgia.
How you guys like the 2 link setup any Binding up on uneven ground?
Not yet!
That seat's sweet. Great color as-is. 👍
The Squarebody Syndicate column would sure be sweet. But you can find a factory tilt column for $150-200 and make it work.
I tried 2000-2006 Suburban second-row 60-40 seat in my 87. But they kicked my butt trying to engineer/fabricate the seat mounts to work with sliders and also get the tops to fold forward. I had to give up and go back to the OG bench.
Thank you!
Nice work!
I really vote for paintin' them steelies white. Or hey, body color would be a cool change-up. Either one. But just not black. Life's too short to do boring black wheels.
I also really vote for finding the rest of that side trim.
I'm also voting for white wheels too! We're looking for the side trim as we speak!
You you recommend it?
If you're on a budget and don't plan on making a ton of power it's fine! But no doubt a four link with a watts is superior!
Definitely need to adjust things to do the "chunky monkey" tires. The long beds need more sidewall.
If you guys know anybody out there that needs a 250 straight-six I have one it's a 78
We'll keep it in mind!
It's free and it runs new 1 barrel carburetor
