Thank you SO MUCH for this video! We are 9 people in my group and this is the first time we are ALL going to forest. We were ready to purchase a cabin pass or Good Life RV pass but then we started doing research and became so disappointed when we realized by the time the general sale happens all of that will probably be gone. Tonight we had a ZOOM meeting to figure out our game plan & we decided to purchase GA to be safe, early check-in on Wednesday, and hopefully add on an RV pass that includes an additional vehicle if it’s still available.
I had my crystals while we were meeting and we kept repeating we were going to the forest one way or another. One of my friends in the group sent your video right after and I already feel SO good that it’ll happen & it will be one of the best experiences of our lives.
I’ll check back on Friday to confirm what we got ✨

We ended up getting Lucky Lake camping + Lucky Lake RV Add-On + Early Check In on Wednesday.
Fun fact: All 9 of us were in a call at the time the general sale opened so we could keep track of who got in first and what was available to purchase. I had my crystals in my lap and I was the first one to get in within 10 minutes so I bought 8 tickets at once (thank God for the payment plan 😅). Out of 9 of us, only 3 were able to get into the sales page.

I haven't seen any info on group camping for this year yet but I'm not sure if I'm just missing it or it hasn't been released yet. I am assuming that if we are arriving on Wednesday for group camping, we just need to buy the Wednesday arrival pass and our group leader will still deal with the parking passes. Have you heard anything different? This is our first year and all of your videos have been beyond helpful and we super appreciate them! =)
Yes! Group camping will be released in 2023 I believe and you won't need a vehicle pass if you buy the early arrival pass! Still buy the early arrival pass then you'll have your GA wristband, and you'll get an additional group camping car pass.

@@vibewithadeYeah. We have a place 20 minutes away. :) Last year we parked in a lot and walked through group camping to get there. It didn't cost at all and wasn't crowded, but I wanted to make sure we suddenly can't park there and have to hitchhike or something.
@@AnnKaminski Oh that's nice!!! Yeah I'm not too familiar on parking when you're not camping maybe dig through EF support community just to be safe
If you are planning to use the daily parking lot, you’ll have to leave an hour after the forest closes each night. So if you’re planning to stay later than, a vehicle pass would be recommended

Thank you so much for this video! This will be my first time going! I was able to get 2 Maplewood camping tix however the vehicle add on for maplewood was SOLD OUT which makes no sense how would that sell out before the camping ticket. So I bought the GA add on vehicle ticket as I wanted to get something before everything sells out. Since this is my first time going I am a bit confused by the layout. If I have the maplewood camping tickets can I still park near my campsite?
Hi! There wasn't a specific maplewoods vehicle pass so you got the right one :) I'm pretty sure with maplewoods you park your car in an area of maplewoods then you pick a camping spot so it might not be right next to you, but it'll be nearby and not in some random lot! hope this helps!
One thing that confused me is what early arrival pass do you buy if you want to come Wednesday but are riding the shuttle? I only see the Wednesday early arrival car pass which I assume is not what tent only campers would buy
When you buy the shuttle pass, you’ll pick the time so you can choose a Wednesday shuttle time and that grants you early arrival!
Ended up not getting tickets for the 3rd year in a row and I am so disappointed. I feel so unvalued by forest and being a first timer. Probably won't try for tickets again.
Sorry about this :( wristband exchange could be a way or keep your eyes peeled in facebook groups, reddit for a pass. you could also volunteer or work to get a pass.
I tried since 2012. Finally got mine this year. Keep a look out for wristband exchanges. And never give up! The experience will be well worth the wait. ❤️
so if i am driving my own vehicle do i need GA and vehicle tickets? i dont care where im camped at, im also nit sure where is a camp-able spot or parking area. This is my first festival so im just confused and dont wanna be just stuck standing around when i arrive.

I meant to buy GL Village tickets and got GL Sherwood court tent only. Guess we will see what that’s like this years !

We got tickets off stub hub that say double JJ resort. Do you know what the significance of Double JJ resort is?
I would be weary about that and verify the legitimacy of that as a heads up. Double JJ resort is the identifiable location of the forest so that part is correct.
I had a bad ending in my second year of forest! I'm thinking of a 3rd year making up for all the trauma that happened!

Hello! First time forest goer here. Me and a friend want to do the effortless camping. Are we allowed to bring a vehicle into our camping spot or do we leave our vehicle in a parking lot?
Your car won’t be right next to you, but it’ll be close to you within effortless!

I’m still kind of confused. I’ll will be a first year attendee. Does the camping pass included the festival ticket? I see that most offer 1 so does that mean in my party do they need to purchase a ticket as well ?
Yes I mentioned it if you're doing GA you just need ONE pass for YOURSELF and that includes both access to GA campgrounds AND GA access to the festival. So if you're all doing GA you will each need a pass. Hope that helps!

Hi Ade, so I read on the website, they said that if I stay off-site during the event and plan to leave each night, I can use the Day Parking Lot. So do I need to buy another 4-day vehicle pass?

@@WATTYaok i paid 740 almost i think. I dont think its to bad considering what the festival will be offering. It definitely feels a bit more brutal then what original pricing was.
@@leperck989 yeah that’s insane, but at least you’ll be there. I’ve been going since 2012 and it’s sad to see how insane the prices have gone up. Up until a few years ago tickets were $350ish with no parking pass required. Make sure you get a parking pass too because you’ll need it this year!

I remember watching your 2018 video when I was deciding if I wanted to attend EF again. You had Odesza playing in the background, and at the end you convinced me EF was a must. Fast forward 3 years, it’ll be my 5th this year. Since I’m old and creaky lol, I’ve done GL all 4 years so…
Hope this helps, GL showers have been consistent with the type of showers they provide. It’s separate from bathrooms. The trailers when you first enter usually have a sink or two to brush, then to your left there’s about 6 or 8 stalls with a small changing spot when you first enter, and then shower. Curtains for both. It’s humid and wet in there all the time, so best to shower and get out. The pressure and temp is okay, but it’s risky if you go during peak. (Anytime after noon) (best is early morning or late night) Outside there is a troth type brushing area. In the bathroom area it’s air conditioned with two sinks. Some have a private bathroom with a sink in it. And a tip for when you are on the festival grounds, for a quick in and out bathroom break, hit the ranch stage vip section where there are plenty of bathrooms available. Last year they took the a/c ones away, but if they bring it back it’s a great place to touch up just/makeup and cool down lol.
Last year it was rough for the staff, so the bathroom and showers suffered. It helps a lot if we do the simple gesture of clearing the drain from our hair, glitter, stickers etc…HAPPY FOREST! Can’t wait to see everyone next year!!!
There is a time and place for being nice and supportive and this is not it! I’ve been to EF since 2012 and all the add on and requiring a vehicle pass and playing it off like they want to help the environment is a joke! Same goes for the exchange. They want to buy back their own tickets so they can spike prices and literally rob anyone who didn’t get a ticket before they sold out. New flash for anyone who hasn’t been multiple years, EF hasn’t changed one bit and they use the same decorative items every year, so stop acting like they’re putting all this extra money into the experience!
