That said, there is basically no anger in this man. I think all the actions that he did that were mean spirited or bad were all due to the drugs. You can see it in his eyes, he wouldn't hurt a fly if he was given the chance.
I'm so sorry he ruined his life completely. I'm so sorry for whatever situations of his early years he couldn't manage and made him live like this, not being able to be healthy. I'm so sorry he couldn't turn things out and find a different direction. You can't see no evil in his eyes.
Well he did turn things around and found a new direction. He's been clean and sober for quite awhile now and still touring and making records with his band Adlers Appetite. Really the only sign from his past adventures is his speech, which was slightly slurred from the stroke he had years back.

It's a shame, Adler, then Izzy and it all fell apart shortly after that. I wish the band could've had longevity. I was really into Zeppelin when they came out and to me they were to be the next Led Zeppelin. I hate to see great bands fall apart, and must admit Chinese Democracy grew on me, but if only the original band had stayed together God knows we would've heard some intense music after the humdrum that followed their demise. Izzy was a big part of the band's sound and is often overlooked. If only the money, drugs and egos hadn't destroyed this iconic band. Shame, shame! Matt Sorum is a good drummer but you just can't replace the original lineup.

I have known a few heroin addicts in my time, and let me tell you, they not the easiest people to deal with ,that is just the nature of that beast , but I ain't the first, nor the last to say, once they kicked him out, GnR have never been the same, dude had that special groove. One of those drummers, when he played, he was just as a feast for the ears , as for the eyes.. .He looked EFFORTLESS , he was having so much fun playing .. The hair , the smile, that easygoing personality.. He was the total musician/rockstar package..
What a great drummer for Guns, sometimes gettin' bigger as a band hands you a price and Steven paid it. I read his book and it's a blast, his life was not easy at all.
I still remember the story of how axle and slash talked Adler's girl girlfriend into having sex with them and they recorded it for one of their songs. To me, I think that was the most screwed move on your friend. then to fire him and screw him twice. Is it not that you help your friends? guess not in this world for decades now!!! Axel still sucks and the only good slash song was don with Fergie doing beautiful dangerous. Never was a one album fan that got way to much overplay on the radio.
I've seen every single one of these clips up until he was tossed out of the band. By the way, you missed a few. Anyway you put them all into one video. E for effort.
