@@lesserlight yes that is true but Gilgamesh is also one of the giants in the Hebrew Book of Giants, which expounds on how the giants in the Book of Enoch dealt with YHWH’s wrath on them… the name is the same and it is inferred to be the same figure, unless he was just named after the Gilgamesh in the Sumerian stories… it is indeed a crossover/connection I found between the Mesopotamian stories and the old Hebrew lore… which would allude to the Watchers and Anunnaki being possibly the same beings, Elohim.

@@lesserlightit’s a dope one for sure… it really tied it all together for me seeing that cameo/connection too.. but yeah imagine being one of the nephilim/giants and not asking to be one, that’s just what you are, and learning that God doesn’t rock with you or your kind… it’s got that vibe to it.. gives their perspective on it…. But with all that it also makes me look at that God in a different way…. I believe in an all powerful Creator/Source/Oneness, and a God who doesn’t want Nephilim because He didn’t “create” them himself so they don’t get to go to Heaven is just a weird concept, sounds more like a man who genetically engineered a creation trying to put fear into them, whereas the actual Source/Creator allowed the system to allow for those beings to come about…. I personally feel like the Old Testament YHWH and all the Elohim/Caananite Pantheon are the same kind of thing as the Anunnaki, maybe not the same exact beings but each nation had an Elohim guiding/manipulating its affairs in those times.. and there’s so many mythologies.. these Watchers/Anunnaki/gods whatever and Nephilim/giants/hybrid beings in my opinion influenced a lot of the worlds ancient mythologies
