I have a thing for sonic blue 'Mustang' (style) guitars with a tort guard...must be a Kurt Cobain thing...I always wanted one
@@TSFAHTPS a friend of mine also has a thing for sonic blue and seafoam green on his guitars. I have a thing for teles. Have a costom shop 72' being built by 2 friends in Silverburst with a P90 on the neck and a Filtertron on the bridge.

Why didn't you go a jm6..? The Mustang is cool, don't get me wrong..it's just..I've been jonesing for a Fano Jm6 for years now. I prolly shoulda bought the Omnis at Xmas...but I'm holding out for an alt defacto.. So I scooped up a Charvel superstrat instead!

It’s a GREAT guitar...after a little setup (I use heavy strings) it’s been playing amazingly well...the pickups are KILLER...I really like it a LOT!!

It seems very stable...I was actually thinking about doing a video about the setup...might do that next week!!
I was looking at the omni starcaster copy like a week ago. Pretty interesting, wonder if it's worth a grand.
Thats the one I really wanted to try too....you never know maybe in the future!! I really like the guitar...it took a little set up to make it play more the way I like it - I like quite heavy strings...but once I did that it plays amazing...stays in tune really well too. The neck is great...nice and beefy
@@TSFAHTPS How is the fit and finish? Photos look nice, maybe comparable to reverend build quality. I read some people that tried it said they feel cheap.
I’ve been playing it a lot since it arrived...I gave it a little setup and put heavier strings on it...it’s a really good guitar...definitely doesn’t feel cheap to me

Can someone inform me the difference between this and my duo sonic hs. Other than pickups
I recently played a Shawn Mendes Duo Sonic...this was in a shop...it had 9s on it (does anyone actually use 9s?!?) it just arrived and wasn’t set up very well - not sure what it would be like after a setup...but in comparison the Fano was setup and played great straight out of the box - after a little tweak & setup for my preferred sting gauge (I like heavy strings) I have to say that the Fano is a genuinely great guitar...I haven’t stopped playing it since it arrived.
Straight out of the box without a setup I would definitely pick the Fano over that particular Duo Sonic any day ...not sure how different the Shawn Mendes model is to a regular Duo Sonic HS...?!? I’ll see if I can get a hold of a Duo Sonic for a comparison
