Also the fact how they weren’t scared first when they were playing and slowly got more terrified. Usually with horror games it’s the other way around.
I think it's more powerful without jumpscares. Jumpscares have been used so often in horror games that they're kinna boring now. Atmosphere gets me better than a cheap jumpscare trick. It's all in the subtlty.
It's also amazing how this game is in really early access, I'm definitely going to be following this game and it's updates. As long as they don't add jumpscares because it's such a cheap trick in horror games that make me hate them but this one I love because of the spooky atmosphere.
Love the way Lixian very creatively uses parts of the game to form subtitles, like using the reticule to form 'ok' and using the 'no' in the 'no contract' part of the whiteboard instead of just writing 'no'.
