The director watched 100 bear attacks? Dude was a top live leak user, no wonder it felt so real.
Bear attacks on other animals maybe 🤣.
@@NakedGhost3234 more likely it was videos of people surviving bear attacks, that being said it’s very funny to imagine Innaritu going “dang that was gnarly as hell” while watching gore with an uncomfortable Leonardo😂
But literally thats the most interesting thing he did in the movie.. the dude didnt talk for the rest of the movie i was highly dissapointed
@@bfam1163 all about expectations my friend, if you go into a movie expecting it to be balls to the wall western action then obviously you’re gonna come out disappointed when you find it’s a slow, methodical unraveling of the Navajo colonisation from the perspective of a white settler who took up arms against his own country and paid the ultimate price for it.
Next time you watch a film, don’t expect anything at all, don’t try to predict the plot, nothing, just watch it and take it as it comes, that is the purest film viewing experience in my opinion.
@@thepoltergeizzt yea have to try that next time.. it wasnt a bad movie im just saying as far as what he did .. 😂 he didnt speak after this incident for the most padt
This guy really is one of the best actors of our time and probably ever.
Ain’t no probably, he is. Arguably the greatest.
@@nate8604a best actor and a creep.
I saw you everywhere lady gtfu watch barbie @brooklynwick
Hell no. I understand that scene was great but he's not the best ever
I don’t get it, i almost never find him convincing in any role
Leo genuinely always gives credit to someone else when talking about his roles. He understands the importance of his teammates when creating cinema. Stay humble.
This scene was the most genuine feeling of "oh my god, this man is going to die" dread i've ever felt watching a movie.
This was the most horrifying scene I have ever watched.

This movie taught me that we can survive and attain triumph if we have relentless mind even though struggle comes
This scene was one of the most incredible things ever. I couldn't believe it and still can't
Director should've got in touch with Joe Rogan he would told his guy behind camera "Pull out that video of that bear attack."
Yeah...that really grisly one; the crazy one! The two bears one! The huge grizzly one!
He always graciously praises others.
I love this shit. I come across the actors, directors, or writers talking about a scene in a movie or the movie as a whole and then I’m just like, “I have to rewatch the movie again, it’s sooo good.”
Actor/director/writer commentary is so awesome to listen to.
The movie Revenant should have been Leo's 5th Oscar.. Hollywood failed him there and THE ENTIRE PLANET KNOWS IT. God bless this very beautiful man...
Seriously. To think it's only his first Oscar is insane to me. This should of been at least his third.
@@stephyfra1243 Hollywood has ALWAYS been jealous of Leonardo DiCaprio.. it's that simple
@@lyndatrones1787 maybe, but also theres a lot of people who deserve to win, the competition is tough. and making the movie is its own reward
This scene is remarkable. WOW.
I remember that people were saying that the bear tried to rape Leo during the scene.
Can't blame him
😂😂😂 you're stupid man
@@torad_2120 😂😂😂😂you're too stupid man
Kinda hard when it was a mama bear. Glass got inbetween her and her 2 cubs. 4 star death move right there...
Lmfao that’s one way to act it out 😂 I’d be horrified
It's one of the best scenes in the history of cinema
How beautiful this man is…
Yeah that was f*cked up. I got to see that on a big screen when it came out. I want to see that scene again now. See exactly what Mr. DiCaprio is talking about.
Watching Leo’s face over these many years tnrough his film work is fascinating. The magic is we have always seen his intellect. We see his “smart”, yet it never overrides his acting. He submerges Leo in his work as a character in each film. Masterful actor at work!
Leo deserved that Oscar this man is FANTASTIC in this movie what an actor!!!❤
He's face is just a piece of art
Lmao at that brief moment of "so how am I gonna fight this bear?"
“That’s the neat thing you don’t.”
@@FellowTolietinspectorThanks dear, how are you and where are you from?
This guy is the elvis presley of acting. No-one can do it like him.
He is such a talented man.❤
LOVE THIS MOVIE!! LEO D. DESERVED THE OSCAR HE EARNED!! It is SO realistic with the bear attack!! It was hard to watch it was so scary!! ♡D
Just watched this again after a few years. This movie is Underrated and One of Leo’s if not best work behind G of A and Titanic
“Jaimie pull up that video of a Leonardo DiCaprio fighting a bear”
So amazing scenes which Leo played incredibly!, also loved the Native American references❤
I wasn't afraid of bears til I saw that...yea
This is ground breaking scene. Just changed the way we see and feel action and senses.
❤❤❤
I heard a quote from him that said filming that movie was one of the toughest things ever, cuz of all he had to do throughout that movie. Dude was crawling in the snow quite a bit, that had to be uncomfortable.
My wife (rip), could not watch that movie. The bear fight was to much cinema for her. Gruesome!
The coolest detail about the scene is how when the bear gets close to the lens it fogs up the camera
They did a great job on this movie . I can watch it over and over again . Especially the bear attack and the attack on mr Fitzgerald and Glass . Good scenes ! ❤
Voyeur is the key word here
Si la vi esta pelicula Wow! Tremenda!!!❤👏👏👏
Homem lindo 🤩
Congrats Leo!!!
In my top ten bless
😎✌🇧🇸
Imagine those two dudes going through gore videos with a notepad, and just going "Huh the bear's taking a moment to catch his breath, write that down. Also look at the way he opened that guy's face, maybe we could do something like that."
I think we’ll be talking about it for a long time as well my good man.
One of the best scenes I’ve ever watched
Hugh Glass....what a hero!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
great 👍 movie 🎬
When the bear got on top of Leo I said," Be brave, don't clinch."
Leo do you know Kate Winslet named her son Bear 😂
Method Acting:
Daniel Day Luis, 👌🏽
Robert De Niro, 💘
Al Pacino,🗿
Leonardo DiCaprio. 😘
So cool to know they used a real bear 🐻
👍
An ok film but god how he won an Oscar for this movie considering his other great roles is crazy
Right?
Should have got his Oscar earlier.🎉
Agreed 👍
God bless Leo 🙏💚
May i give you a perspective...like really??!!
You are more captivating being you than you are being an actor...
Use it to influence the good fight..
Take care 💚
Leonardo DiCaprio is extraordinary. I knew it as a young girl watching his acting on Growing Pains and I know it now. I think a great part for him in the future to play would be Jesus Christ.
Discomfort, not uncomfort.
Dan Peña killed a bear 🐻...
"YA JUST GOTTA JUMP ON ITS BACK"
🤨
That is one of the best movies of my lifetime! Just watched it again today
🫵🕶️👌🎩
They could've made it more realistic for the sake of Hugh Glass and put the cubs on him too.
you know what this film caused?
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!!
A cat, with a, ball of yarn.
his best role was what's eating Gilbert grape !
I'm talking about his performance in Gilbert grape that was special !
Nope
@@scotttownsand1533was amazing indeed, the entire movie was very good
@@scotttownsand1533Thanks dear, how are you and where are you from?
Hi
I love you Leonardo DiCaprio leo i am your wife rabaka Jack Leonardo DiCaprio leo
Joe rogan would have been the perfect consultant for this scene
Ok
I don't gives a shit what you have to say!...about anything or ever will
I thought the bear was an actor 🤔
"Don't aggravate her or him" definitely a her, if it was a him Glass WOULD HAVE been dead 😂
Shit was scary
He's lucky that bear didn't lift him up the air by his neck, for most people that's game over
How how can you fake that scene ?
Acting isn't "faking" it for the cameras. It's finding the truth of the moment and connecting to the truth of the scene.
Yeah, okey. It does sound a little like faking being in that dire situation- but I promise, Leo will guarantee to you that it's NOT.
Not to him. Not to the other (good) method actor.
That's part of the Method. Believing it oneself.
personally, I wasn't impressed with the bear scene. it was just another CGI, in a world with marvel comics abusing it. he tried to use it to tell a truthful story, but the bear didn't feel real and neither did the danger. he should have won Oscar for Django, but no way would they give an Oscar for that character lol
Nich hi feliz mithe you mother mes
I actually think Tom Hardy was better in this film. That's not a swipe at Leo either.
More like a cat playing with a mouse
I absolutely hated the palate choice in this movie. Everything was gray/green.
great acting and scene, but in real life the victim of such an attack is not surviving
The os ar
Eminempro verisk❤
Entertaining film but the bear attack was the only thing in it that actually happened.
It was so hard watching that scene. I almost puked
Peopel just filming bear attacks!! Get help!!!!!
I think Leonardo diceprio likes to hear himself talk . He likes being in the spotlight . He wouldn't know what to do if he was trailer park poor or hit rock bottom.
who asked?
I seen him around other people in interviews and he's actually the opposite...he listens carefully and doesn't interrupt people when they speak but when he's talking alone he likes to go into detail when he speaks...he just simply like to express himself while he speaking.
Dude the editing for this video is annoying, just let Leo speak ffs!
The scene is really nasty.
So, Leo is really beautiful, but am I the only one that thinks he looks like he has a wad of chewing tobacco in his cheek all the time? Maybe he does :)
His worst movie IMO. The Beach was better.
Hard for The Beach to top anything, tbh
The Beach?!? You could’ve chose Shutter Island, Wolf of Wall Street, Django Unchained, Inception, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Departed etc. And you chose The Beach?

He has such a nice voice
