  • Michael Obrinski served on board the Battleship New Jersey during the 1980s. He also served on USS Blue Ridge. In 2018, the ship's Oral History staff interviewed him on board The World's Greatest Battleship.
The Oral History program records interviews of former New Jersey crew members -- either on the Battleship, at their homes, via Skype, or over the phone -- to preserve their experiences for current and future generations. More than 400 interviews have been recorded so far.
