Am enjoying the video am from Jamaica ❤
Correct doc
Smell of a dead body. I feel your pain, doc. Death is pretty bad. Yikes, never my favourite.
Holy moly 😳 My heart goes out to this young man. I can’t imagine the suffering. Prayers for a cure from this condition 🙏
I remember seeing a similar situation on embarrassing body with a little girl age 8 who had verrucas so bad on her feet it horrified the doctor who makes a living seeing weird and gross things on people. She had to get a bone marrow transplant and they followed her journey.
Oh wow. Hope she did ok.
Do you know if the condition got better?
Yes, after chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. If you google Charlotte Wilson Embarrassing Bodies it will bring up videos and UK articles on her @@DoctorYoun @ruzi.the.spider
@@DoctorYoun I lived in the UK at the time and can confirm, a year from the transplant, that she was thriving. She got nine marrow from one of her siblings, though, who was highly compatible.
i can’t even imagine the pain this poor man goes through as a child my feet where so bad my parents made me use the garden hose and leave my shoes outside another great video
One thing I did before I decided to have a family, is be tested to ensure I did not have something that could be passed along to a child.. I had a friend while I was growing who had a nephew with muscular dystrophy. When the family was tested, it turned out the mother was the one who passed it on to her son. Also although I learned to live with a physical disability, I would not want to pass that on to a child and have them deal with what I did growing up.
I have a genetic disorder neurofibromatosis type 1 (its been mentioned before on this channel) but its autosomal dominant, so 50/50 shot at passing it on. They can do PGD now to use IFV to make sure I dont pass on my defective gene. I have a healthy little girl because of this amazing procedure :)
I feel like that way of thinking is too similar to eugenics. Some people have conditions they will pass on that they can’t be tested for and some people have genetic conditions they might have passed on but never did. The point is, we can’t control what happens to our children or other people’s, but they still deserve life, just like anyone alive living with these conditions. Otherwise we are saying some people have less of a right to live than others. You can say it’s personal choice not to have children, but that personal choice can affect a lot of people and, if you’re not careful, in a negative way.
@@berserkerbard if people decide to not have a children because of their genes, it is their right to do so. the make decision for THEMSELVES, not trying to make everyone do the same. may I ask if you have a physical disability or an autoimmune disease? are you speaking theoretically or from your own experience?
let's suppose you have a child, they have developed a disease transmitted from you or your partner, they find out about it in the hospital in the future and come to you with the question - "did you know that you have this disease?". what will you say to them? "oh yes, I'm sorry, I was so selfish, I wanted a child so much that it didn't matter to me whether I passed on this disease or not, after all, we can't prevent everything that happens in our lives, can we?"
is that it?
Berserker, pressuring women into having children AND telling them they can't choose whether to have healthy ones has a name: it begins with P, it continues with O and it ends with S.
@@lovelymill thank you for defending my (and others) decision. Its not goddamn eugenics. How would it have been different than if there theoretically was a 100% cure, and taking that cure. Is that eugenics too? >:( I hate that argument so much. I almost died at 18, my friend with it died at 21. Why would I want to pass this gene on and risk watching my child suffer and die over virtue signaling
Insane my man. I learn something new everyday. This one tops everything.
I hear you. Tough condition for him.
Not a lot of things make the skin on my face crawl, but this is one of them. I feel so bad for this guy.
As a kid I watched a show with the ""Tree man"" and thought he was extremely beautiful. Like his hair was perfect.
He was very handsome for sure
always nice to remember that the use of tilapia skin for burn healing was discovered by brazilian researchers in the Ceará Federal University (UFC for short) 💕
Thank you Brazilian taxpayers. Wonderful country.
I'm so glad I don't have any conditions that cause growths like this. With my dermatillomania I would be just ripping my skin off 24/7 until I died of an infection.
Thanks. Never eating churros again.🤢
😂😂😂😂😂 that churros reference was crazy ❤
Ikr, I love churros! 🤔
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sometimes.....I scratch my head at these illnesses, and also feel stupid for complaining about health issues in my own life.
Mine can be radically changed, just by changing my diet .....I am just scared to try.
This poor man and others who suffer from this horrible condition. God bless um. 🙏🏻
Dang that's horrific. Poor guy
Had a friend that worked at Whole Foods and one of her job duties was to pull worms from the flesh of tilapia before it was sold. I’ve never eaten tilapia.
The skin is so highly processed there's no chance of worms or other parasites getting through. This being said, all fish have worms, which is why you should only buy fish through reputable sources. Use the FDA guidelines to buying and preparing fish.
That is why I never eat sushi
They had a segment on news her someone bought Salmon at Cosco and it had live worms in it, my daughter used to work at Meier and she said happened all the time there.
No wonder I don't eat fish!
@@marleneclough3173 There's regulation with sushi where it has to be frozen for a certain amount of time at a very low temperature. This temperature kills off any parasites that possibly reside in it.
"He's not going to become Aquaman!!!". OMG, I laughed so hard!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I cannot imagine going through that, and I feel for the man in Indonesia living his life in pain and not being able to get help from medical professionals due to the severity
Oh!! 😢hope she is better.
Dr Anthony Youn ❤
Love from Perú.
On the fish skin grafts. I wonder if the doctor was concerned about these growths spreading to the place she would be taking a skin graft. I am not sure how easily these growths spread on the body. if the skin is damaged, could growths start appearing? I guess using fish skin would remove that risk.
Yeah. I'm thinking the same.
It reminds me of HIV for some reasons. Definitely surgeries on a regular basis, is a try.
But if they can find an internal cure to fight off the virus from inside, 'cause we know the culprit.
Fish skin is used for wound care for a few reasons. It acts as a barrier to prevent pathogens from entering the body. It acts like a lattice the boys can use to quicker replace the missing skin cells. And it doesn’t require you to make an original skin graft from the host person.
I love your vids they helped me pass science❤❤❤
I really enjoy watching your channel! ❤
wonder if the HVP vaccine could helpt prevent this condition
Interesting question!
If he's under 35 it could that's the age limit you can have the vaccine
One time when I was a kid I caught some sort of gnarly foot infection that looked a lot like frog eggs had grown between my toes. They were these clusters of round blisters. It was really, really gross looking. Even the doctor that treated me shuddered when he saw my bubble covered toes. It was definitely uncomfortable, but not super painful. I wish i could remember what it was called. I as given antibiotics and it cleared up with no issues- though during the healing process I had to wear sandals to keep my feet as dry as possible and often felt the blisters burst as I walked
Omg some doctors are saints I think I'd get goosebumps and pass out.
Thank you. I always learn so much from you ❤
My head just started itching uncontrollably 😮
I take my hats off to people who works with feets mainly podiatrists I couldn’t do it😮
oh my! that looks do painful! prayers for healing
Gee thanks Dr. Youn!😬Now I'll never be able to look at a churro the same again!!!🤢
Dr. Youn, you made a food reference to his feet (churros)! (Made me smile because I thought about the Cheetos guy.)
Hpv for warts in general. And this is formed when the warts aren't suppressed by the immune system, so it runs rampant
You should try acupuncture to bring your sense of smell back, Dr.
Big fan
What about an anti viral ?
I mean this was not for the faint hearted to watch. I got to tell you Dr Youn, I would not associate churros with this condition. It's more like wart overload...
I saw a young girl with this and they gave her a bone marrow transplant!!
I would want to pick it off
It looked like a bloomin’ onion to me😮
Thank goodness I don't like bloomin' onion!
This poor guy… My heart breaks for him.
❓ wouldn't it help if you could boost the immune system ❓
Also I would think the fish skin would always be the better option, as you're not creating a wound to help heal another wound. You're basically doubling the stress on an already not so great immune system.
3:41 tell that to Bryan Johnson he’s very into that
There is some new research from Japan, I think, that might help this condition. Something called AHCC.
I'd start by soaking my feet in baking soda water daily just to see what effect it may have. 🤷🏻♀️ What do I know? Worth a try.
I’ve heard that a bone marrow transplant can help in situations like this. Changing the immune system, not sure if it’s true though
With a good over the counter medication cream and somebody that take care of the treatment with love that is gone in 10 days.
wouldnt it be easiest to just... amputate the top part of his foot? it only seems to grow on his toes, right? or would it start growing on the amputated stump when there are no more toes?
It could grow on any part of his body unfortunately.
the toes play a big role in being able to walk
I feel so bad for these guys. It looks brutally painful.
if the problem is that is immune system is to weak, why not work on that problem and try to make is immune system stronger? it doesnt have to be fixed but maybe it might be enough for the immune system to fight that off
crazy
I'd go with fish
My heart goes out to this poor young man. On a side note, I’m never eating churros again.
Dammm 😢
That made me shudder.
would a bone marrow transplant help this man for his immune system to fight off the HPV virus??
Interesting, never heard of that disease learn something new daily
I have read that this is directly caused by untreated syphilis...
😮So. It's not an inborn condition
did we watch the same video? dr. youn clearly explains the man has a weakened immune system due to a GENE he inherited. you must be confused since there are less than 200 cases ever reported; this condition is exceedingly rare
Must be so uncomfortable😭
Dear a God
How on earth did medical science decide that tilapia is the best fish to use? Was it an ‘accidental’ discovery?
1:08
Not another forbidden food 😭
LOL! "Churro Feet"
Hell, I was about to pass out just watching it on the screen! That would be justification for the 45 automatic cure!
My complaints are miniscule compared to this man. I wish him well.
Honestly, if i was him. I would probably opt to amputate both my feet. if its just the feet, they are easily replaced with prosthetic feet. unlike the hands, they are not much different than normal feet and functionally won't even feel a difference.
He cant treat it with a file and liquid nitrogen?
I already don’t like churros, but I’m never going to think about them the same way again. I also don’t like feet.
Why Dr Youn always compare it to food💀🤢
Lol
😞
Doctors. Y'all gotta stop comparing growths, tumors, abnormalities, etc. to FOOD ITEMS. For the love of all that is holy, PLZ STAHP! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😭😭
😮😮😮
Girl, I would’ve put on two pairs of gloves _AND_ a mask while taking off those socks.
What ????
Fish skin like hydrocoloid?
I'd do several soaks with tea tree oil or something, to get the surface fungal/bacteria under control first. But I'm not a doctor.
Foot soaks in this type of person is not recommended.
there is no surface fungus or bacteria to get rid of; the V in HPV stands for virus
Not a lunch friendly video.
😫😫
What are the chances of there being Gene Therapy someday?
🫣
I dont think i will ever eat a churro again 🤮
I hate feet too. If u have pretty feet ghats great. But dont put them in my fkn face. And if u have stinky feet or were wolf feet it ruins the dating experience. How hard is it to clip ur tonails amd use anti fungal in ur shoes amd work shoes.
Damn and complain about sweating!
The growths look kinda like barnacles.
Tree Man Syndrome reminds me of The Last of Us and it seems like the virus. HPV untamed, basically?
Why did he glue chicken nuggets to his feet from her grand children
It doesn't look like churros at all. It looks just like hay or something. Don't make me hate churros 😢
I hate it when they compare something yucky to something that’s good to eat.
How kfc is made
Came here to complain about the thumbnail. Not ok to make everyone see this regardless of whether or not they want to click on the video.
So his feet are still smelling like fish?😅
What is this with y'all and food? Churros? Really?
Translation: “im going to remove both feet and knees”
He could at least cut the nails
What the fuck is that foot
Stop the bull
So gross
lol you doctors and discribing diseases like food!
Your book is expensive sir
Can you please send me a free copy please
You’re a dr. You can afford it.
Check your local library
Horrible
Too much talking and not enough video. Waste of time!
you know you can just watch the show he's explaining instead of complaining about it right.... it's called "my feet are killing me"
@@uwhehnf - All these supposed Dr's are doing anyway is stealing everyone else's work in order to rip the real creator off!! It's annoying!
That thumbnail is disgusting and makes me not want to watxh the video.🤮
Every illness has a espiritual cause and if the person knows and heals and ask the creator of the universe for guidance he can be cured
