We are unsure what the problem is. But tummy time should be pain free. Enjoy

tummy time should be given before feed or after

Tummy time can be given at any time, but it is better before dinner as it is possible that food can come up again.

    Hi

I’m confused to the fact that back in the possibly Pre 1990’s and under is that the babies laid on their tummy’s, back and both sides.
Why is the babies now not laying on their tummies and have tummy time?
We turned our babies from side to side and tummy to back not in this order but the babies grew up fine.
I don’t like babies to eat while they are half asleep or lay about to the ground.
I’m always afraid they will aspirate .
I’m sorry but I’ve never realize the changes of how the babies are today with the swaddling that the babies hands and feet are in one position
It’s ashamed that we did not have the great
Walkers and things that the babies been having.Them little chairs they have for the little ones sit in is so cute.
And how the little ones can drive them battery cars.
They are so cute and the twins and triplets

Placing a baby on his or her stomach only while awake and supervised - can help your baby develop strong neck and shoulder muscles and promote motor skills. Tummy time can also prevent the back of your baby's head from developing flat spots (positional plagiocephaly). But it is ok to lay your baby on its back sometimes.
