Hi Janet, Love seeing how much you’re enjoying your vacation! Seaside, sights, shopping, and sweets - and the memories of all of that, tucked into your little mini journal - so much fun!! I still love that little craft shop with all the fun buttons, and the chocolate shop! I think I put on a few pounds just *looking* at the goodies inside! 😂 I bet it smells amazing when you walk in there… So cute that Freddie had a train ticket - that’s a really great piece of ephemera to keep. Cat, thank you so much. We had a discussion on our last visit to the chocolate shop, what a lovely place it would be to bring the laptop for a working at home day ! then they decided it was probably just as well there wasn’t one nearby home ! Ben settled on a favourite drink 80% hot chocolate with a double shot of coffee ☕️ !

Ker oh thank you. I love an independent shop, oh and independent coffee shops too. This is where I get the little Windsor & Newton travel palette refills, then it got me researching the difference between getting the half-pans or little tubes, ‘ every-days a school day ‘

Beth so lovely to see you 🩵 that was our little spot on the lawn, with a blanket, tea and pack of cards watching the world go by and little boats in the harbour. You wouldn’t believe how cold that water was though ( unbelievable weather for us though )

Hi Janet, Oh what lovely place's to go on your vacation & to have a ticket for Freddy that's awesome! I love all the little shops. The button shop & chocolate shop is my favorites! You look super good & pretty. My husband & I were in England 1998 going to different places Germany, France, Austria, & a couple I can't remember for about a month. It was so much fun! I wish we could go again. But were in our 70's & I'm not able to walk very far. So it wouldn't be very good to go now anyway! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely vacation! Lovely video of your holiday, and you had glorious weather too! 😃We stayed at Sandford in May and visited Swanage. I love the curiosity shop on the corner in Swanage. I remember the spearmint chews - one of my favourite sweets as a child 😃
