- The LCD panel in this HP 15s-fq1505sa (TPN-Q222) laptop is held in by very strong double-sided tape. Unlike the previous time I replaced one of these (see • [8] HP Pavilion 15-cs0... , this time I was aware of the correct procedure to release the double-sided tape by stretching it.
To reaffix the LCD panel, I used a 3M tape that I found to be strong and that releases when stretched. See this video for details: • [5] Comparing five bra...

Great video. Great help. Thanks
Hey, I'm looking to replace my TN panel with an IPS one since I use the computer mainly to study and watch movies and its weird color shifting eye burning screen anoys me, but I can't find the serial number of the panel that this computer uses to be shure to pick a compatible model, could you help? The model os the laptop is this one: HP 15s-eq2067ns, thanks in advance.
Sorry, but I don't know. In the UK, I use www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/ to buy replacement panels. When they offer multiple types of panels for one laptop, the main thing to watch is that the connector is the same. If so, they are likely to be safe to interchange.
Great Video, do you have any idea to repair a backlight problem on this models? Thanks!
Not really, but I have seen CZcams videos of people fixing a backlight issue by simply disconnecting and reconnecting the LCD connector. I'm sure this would only work in some situations, and if you try it be sure to disconnect the battery first.
@@ComputerHelpNI Thanks, but dont work in this models.
@@ComputerHelpNI great that's worked to me !!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
What type of LCD panel is this? The one you replaced? So I can look for it.

22:29 - that bottom piece comes off.
True. In this case, I had the part loose, so the bezel could slide into place.
