@@kevinprzy4539everyone does. maybe not in the usa but here where I live they do. It's not expensive or a waste of time. It's normal to go out every two days to buy the basics, and of course you can buy bread on your way home from work in the morning.
American here.
1. We have many types of good cuisine available, and can produce really high-quality food. However, due to corporate greed, lawmakers have allowed them to include harmful ingredients, and they care more about cheap manufacturing instead of a quality healthy product. As a result, we get obesity, diabetes, and cancer. If you stay towards foods that are farmer grown and raised, instead of highly-processed foods, you'll avoid a lot of these problems.
2. The fact that tipping still exists today despite the facts that everybody wants to be woke as hell and tipping became normalized in post-Civil War reconstruction era to re-affirm the master-serf dynamic, well, it's beyond me. In fact, tipping has gone rampant and way out of control. Every business asks for tips, whether they did anything that warrants it or not. Tipping used to be reserved only for wait-staff at sit-down restaurants, hair-care/nail-care, livery/taxi, bellhops, etc. Now, people who earn a regular wage are asking for them. To be honest, most Americans would love to see tipping be abolished.
3. Metric makes a lot more sense than U.S. Customary, but as stubborn as we are, we won't change. However, it's nice that metric is available in most scenarios. Anything you buy in the store has both U.S. and metric size listed, and many modern cars can be switched between miles/kilometers.
All that being said, I like your video! Thank you for providing an outsider's perspective on our country! It is always good to see honest reactions! Welcome to the U.S.A.! 😊
I agree with all of this. Especially the food part. If you don’t know where to get food except for “Fole Foods” there’s something wrong with YOU.

@@jenniferibarra7737 eventually, we just went to more stores, like first we only knew FoodMax, but afterwards we found out better ones like Winco, Trader Joe's, Costco, Whole Foods, farmers markets. Well, it was over time. We only cook from raw ingredients, we don't buy prepared food usually. Even raw ingredients at FoodMax are not that good, while Winco and Costco are though similar but food is a few levels better. Trader Joe's has cool stuff, but its not for everyday shopping, its more like gourmet/to eat sometimes. Whole Foods is terribly expensive, but for some things, its best to buy there. At farmers markets, we usually bought whole box of tomatoes, or grapes, or anything, its really great-tasting and affordable.
So for me, experience is in cooking, our family never ate at restaurants) only buying and cooking, but we did buy sometimes frozen or prepared foods occasionally. 12 of something makes a foot
3 of something makes a yard
No one knows how many yards is in a mile.
4 of something makes a gallon
16 of something makes a pound
Brilliant!
You don’t really need to know how many feet or yards are in a mile because you never say stuff like “1 mile and 200 yards” you would say “1.2 miles”
@@RobertEdwinHouse17 This is the problem.
For you, 1.2 miles is 1 mile + 200 yards = 1792.224 meters.
For a European, 1.2 miles is 1.2 miles. 1.2 X 1609.344 = 1931.2128 meters.
Nastya got a culture shock! 🤣😂😅
There are many Good Food options in USA
As for why we don't use the metric system in America I have absolutely no idea😂 it just sounds like common sense at this point
In an alternate world we FINALLY USE the civilized system
But we use a smorgasbord writing system based on Chinese characters Indian devanagari Arabic abjad and latin characters to represent American english
@franciscoacevedo3036 so a logographic writing system? I was thinking more of a phonemic Alphabet, where one character= one sound, such as the Shavian alphabet.

The food only sucks if you go to the wrong place. Tropical smoothie is my favorite Mediterranean fast food place, and they have some pretty healthy stuff for inexpensive! :)
I completely agree with the food being inedible in the US. I lost about 8 kg while living there for 6 months.
I was studying, so I could barely afford WholeFood and the likes, especially since they are super expensive for “just okay” quality.
She didn't have to compete for equipment because nobody uses them 😂😂😂
She is right, the food is inedible in usa
It’s really not dumbass. Eat something other than fast food and you’ll find it’s a lot better than most of these others countries “food”
Not all of it, I promise lol. Just steer clear of big chains and eat at smaller restaurants and u can find some real gems!!
Thats why we starve duh
Get better food. America has alot to chose from.
Most food sucks maybe 2% is good
@firefly-zr8vj Mexicans good, plenty of authentic Asian, real Italian restaurants
U guys just go to dogshit restaurants
@@firefly-zr8vj You just hate America and you blame it for your shit choices and your laziness.
@@firefly-zr8vjdefinitely not bud you have to actually put some effort in to find the good food here which isn’t even hard. Just don’t go to the fast food places.

Whole Foods, Whole PayCheck!
I have been both fat and thin in America and it is all about habit. It's easy with the right habits and impossible with the wrong ones. I don't think there's any one key to it, but not getting on the fast food carousel in the first place and making body movement a daily job are big positives.
Girllll u have to come to the UAE 🇦🇪
•ABU DHABI=It is calm and not crowded and has amazing culture
• RAS AL KHAIMA( where I am from) amazing beaches mountains and deserts and the weather is to die for one of the mountains has snow on to and it’s called jabal jeese
•Fujarah=U HAVE TO GO TO THE VALLEY it’s not the best place to live in but it’s ok
•Sharjah= It is known for its outstanding collages and has a lot of nice people
Hope u like this info luv u ❤❤❤❤
You look amazing. Beautiful lady.
Inedible? Lmao
Lolz. I was thinking the same thing. Compared to Russian food. Most American food (not cheap fast food) is exponentially better.
yes!!! inedible and full of deadly chemicals I got soo sick once eating some american snacks tourists from US left behind
@@yasser9350you immune system is weak asf then
@@yasser9350wait so just because one American snack had chemicals in it all American foods are “inedible”?
Yes, 90% of American food, including restaurants, does not meet the standards by law of other first world countries. Why do you think this country is so horribly obese?
My mom moved to America from Israel. She said she hated the food when she first moved here and never stopped complaining
Lmao🤣 our food is miles better than wtv slop yall are feeding your selfs over there prolly reduced to eating dirt with all that war shit over there
She just needs to find a Jewish Deli near her.
Like Israel is known for its cuisine!

You're probably right about the food here. We don't notice how bad it is because we're used to it 😅
And also because most people can't buy everything at Whole Foods
Spot on about the food in Texas. I moved to Texas from the East Coast and my Lord the food here just can't measure up at all. They don't know how to make a pizza, forget about any good kind of Asian food. The BBQ isn't healthy to eat often and I don't care for Mexican food either. I've lost 25 pounds in the half a year I've been here through just eating at home. Obviously exercise is a factor but moving here made realize how the food scene just can't measure up
Literally all the things u named are ur fault foe not liking lol
The food doesn’t suck, your ability to search for good food does.
No most food we have is trash
Your food sucks period
If it’s like British food produce, it sucks sorry although after the pandemic quality went down in Europe if you don’t mind paying more you get better quality.
The healthy Americans seem over obsessed to eat always healthy the other only eat trash.
It’s my impression.
Europe is Americanized but varies country to country, I only say the uk and France.
The USA probably only salvation is soul food 😂
@@santostv.Well, British produce (as in meat and veggies) is top tier. They just aren't good at cooking it. I am Irish and we have the same problem. As cooks we are very bland

They have access to so many cultures and they still don’t learn 🤣only a few dishes are considered good.
I would be honest and say that the art of cooking is been lost in my country among the young generation in a way unfortunately, because of “industrialization” and fast pace life, most young people don’t cook anymore, still if you know how to do it is top tier, some Americans come to my country and complain but they don’t understand that our “meal of the day menu” is target a workers and for people to have a meal for a reasonable price,if you you a better quality you need to pay a bit more, like I said quality has gone down and you need to know to see whats good and what isn’t,still what i see Americans eating is like a two speed nation you have the over religious and the “libertarians” ,you have the over healthy basically only eating salads and the guys that only order takeaway and drink mount dew( exaggerating a bit) meanwhile is my country we vary a bit between “healthy” and unhealthy food.
Sidenote they complain about the amount of water given without asking for more of a bigger water bottle i was baffled when I heard them complaining about that or the paying for bathrooms meanwhile that is mostly popular in wealthy eu countries, they visit one European countries and think we are all the same.
Tldr: we are doomed running to the bottom of the barrel.
Natasha this is how I felt when I came to states 15 years ago. Food was inwdable but now I cook my own every meal.
Nastya: “I have no idea what a mile is-“
Tom:
Even though I’m American, I agree with the food. It’s just so greasy and unhealthy they need to do better with our food
Omg I’m so early❤
The American dream usually disappointing and not what you thought it would be
In case you want to know more about how far you’re running, a mile is 1.609 kilometers
“I’m too good for the country I’m visiting” is apparently cute when it’s the US and rude everywhere else. Leave then.
Poor people buy crappy food and complain, as seen in the comment section. Those who spend more on food remain healthy and fit and full of energy. If you’re in America, don’t be poor and you won’t have greasy, limited selection, low quality food. I know, mind blowing, but it’s true. For 15 years after I moved to the US I ate crappy food and hated how I felt all those years. I decided to start spending a little more on food and immediately started losing weight, gaining more energy, and having better mental clarity. I applied the same with sleep by going from 6-7 hours a night to 8-9 hours with an occasional nap midday. I didn’t have to buy any “miracle drug” to cure bad habits. The vast majory just pick up their parents bad habits and unwilling to change unless it threatens them with a life and death situation. This isn’t solely an American problem, it’s a human problem in general. It’s sad to see how the “human problem” seems to be directed personally at Americans when those problems are seen everywhere, around the globe. It’s just easy to dump our problems on Americans because it makes us feel better about our situation.
You can't just stop being poor....
@@Ashatelol Yes, you can. It's very similar to losing weight but less rewarding in the beginning (because money is more of an exponential change whereas weight is more linear). But they are similar in that you can't do it in a day or six months, it takes years of counting your dollars/calories every time you spend/eat, and being content with barely visible improvements that "don't make any difference" and it's a constant stress because you don't trust yourself to stick to it, you are waiting for it to become easier and it doesn't. You have to not expect results to motivate you to change, because the results take a lot longer to be meaningful than your habits take to change. The behavioral change is not linear, it's exponential - it's hard and hard and hard and hard and then one day you realize it's still hard but not as stressful because you don't think about it as much or in quite the same way. And you still have a way to go but you start getting into the journey of it and less worried about the results because you trust yourself more.
@@Ashatelol you can. Change is the hardest thing because it requires will power which few possess or an existential crisis to trigger it because you’ve passed your tolerance level to sustain it. You tend to do the right thing when you’ve exhausted all other options. Fear of unknown hinders on average 8/10 people. Small changes are everything. The key is to think small. It’s difficult though because we’re so used to thinking big with everything wanting to see dramatic results. Or we don’t see immediate results so we quit on ourselves. Some even fear their own success and stop. We self-paralyze ourselves from ever trying to change because we sensationalize and emphasize the thought so much. But I think the thing that gets most people is trying and slowly succeeding, but relapsing to what they know to be comfortable and back to the known, the discomfort gets to them. We have so much against us in trying to change and adopting the new lifestyle that many just quit on themselves and go back to their old routine. Playing video games, binging on tv shows, eating feel good foods because it’s easy and we can mitigate stress and eliminate fear altogether. The inner war is continuous throughout our lifetime.
@@cisium1184 The thing is…..it is absolutely not possible for everyone in a capitalist economy to be wealthy. Having said that, I also know capitalism (with some needed government regulations) is the best economic system. Theoretically and hypothetically, if everyone had $25 million in the bank, there would be no one left to do all the important jobs like sanitation workers, bank tellers, restaurant servers, and on and on. The economic system would not be viable because no one would think they needed to work with $25 million in the bank. Not only that, there would be hyperinflation and soon the currency would be worthless.
@@cisium1184 you just not compared being poor to being fat....you can't just stop being poor. it doesn't work like that.
“I refuse to learn” Hahaha! Love it
I tell people all the time, it's cheaper to suffer. When my parents came to this country in the early 70's, they bought two houses, and did an addition by 1979. Now i go buy bread, and i can't financially recover. So much for progress.
I have a few relatives in the us. And although I never lived there, every time we visit I mostly just eat the food they cook at home. I feel like most of the food there is so greasy and sweet. Everything is so sweet and I really don’t get why ? At some point it just doesn’t taste that good anymore. Maybe it’s just bc I’m not used to it , cause at home we don’t use a lot of sugar with anything not even dessert (if you want it sweet you just eat honey or sweet jam with it )
This is so true
“I don’t know what a mile is and refuse to learn”: that is the correct response to the imperial system. It is stupjd.
