Great job Nat. Your videos, to me at least, are very much like NDYakAngler's. Great presentation. NO BS music or other annoying distractions. You let us feel like we're there with you. Nothing more needs to be said!! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed being there with me!

great Job, Bud, nobody has show action like, everyone talks and talks and talks, you just caugh fish with frog, Thank you
Thanks - I appreciate the feedback
Great video! I learned a lot about frog fishing and that steady retrieve is actually a very viable option for them. I guess getting my first big frog strike when I was steady retrieving it with the intention of casting to another spot wasn't just pure luck. These longer style videos from you are also quite nice! Sometimes the best way to learn is watching how other anglers fish. Great stuff :)
Thanks. It was a great, short trip out there and fun to share it with everyone.
Like your kayak setup another great video thanks Nat.
Thanks for the comment. I think I've finally got the kayak set up just right for me!
top water fishing is thee most satisfying way to fish

That nice one on the 1 legged frog- well done casting back into that area, changing the presentation, and getting a fish that missed the first time. I loved seeing how you managed to still get him on the second time around.
Thanks. That was fun and surprising that he struck again.
Good catch mate. Watching from the Philippines.
Cool. Welcome!

What a fun video
Thanks. It was a blast out there on the water.
'He probably won't get hooked again' 😂
And then he showed me!
I really enjoy your videos. They are very informative and have taught me a great deal about fishing. I may be coming off kind of blunt with this question but, how do you find good fishing spots that you actually have access to?
I just look for parks and boat landings first. You can do pretty well at places like that, even if they get fished often. I think the key is being quiet. Some people will stomp their way onto a dock and drop their plastic tacklebox...that just announces to all the fish that you've arrived. The biggest advantage came when I bought my first kayak for $200 over 20 years ago now. It allowed me to go anywhere I wanted to find good fishing spots. All I needed was a tiny public access point to get in.
Nice
Thanks
Could you do a video on the best ways to fish at different times of the day?
That's a broad topic because it depends on so many things (species, water clarity, lures...). For example, on the river near my house, the water is stained dark. Bass and panfish fishing is good in the morning and evening with topwater baits. They go deeper during the day and are better targeted with other baits. You can't really fish them at night at all because the water is so dark to begin with, the fish can't see much of anything. You can catch walleyes or catfish occasionally at night, but everything else pretty much shuts down. Even the walleyes and cats tend to bite better during the day.
Whats your whater temp and air temperature. Me and my so are learning bass fishing. Me are up in Delaware try to learn new things. Thanks man enjoy your video
This video was shot in mid-July in Wisconsin. Air temps were in the mid-80s and water temps were near 80.
Steady retrieve on frogs, nice, noted!
Particularly with frogs that have prop feet or paddletail feet.
@@FishingwithNat yep noted that as well, looked up some scum frogs for purchasing and I wil give it a try this week / weekend!
Thank you!
@@FishingwithNat lastly, it seems that it works with 1 leg frog as well LOL
@@silenzioklze Cool, good luck!
@@silenzioklze Yep. Keep using it until it's torn to shreds.
Man I gave up hook and sinker been jogging and frogging I haven't cought anything since the transition...I feel terrible I can't catch anything
Frog fishing can be hit or miss depending on the location/habitat. Check out our Basics of Frog Fishing video for lots of tips on frogging czcams.com/video/czTtqyDKDcA/video.html
What rod specs and reel are you using?
That was my main frogging combo - a medium-heavy Ugly Stik Carbon spinning rod 7' and Pflueger President XT Size 35.
What line is this?
I was using 4lb Berkley Trilene XL monofilament for the bobber and weightless rig. I moved up to 15lb Sufix 832 braided line with a 15lb fluorocarbon leader for the bottom rig.
