Wonderful! And how appropriate that you facilitate this historical conversation with one of the Craft's masters. I look forward to the full conversation.

Absolutely brilliant. What a fantastic interview. I really appreciate the angle of the questions posed Tom. So tired of how to questions. I like the idea of where did the idea come from. Brilliant I can't say it enough.

Sean Kelly- this is a preview of a much longer interview. The black & white is to accentuate that this is only a preview. You're absolutely correct, their are many colors and textures around David's shop. Again, this is only meant as a preview.
You can find the entire interview ( over an hour and a half in length ) on my membership site- more details at www.theUnpluggedWoodshop.com

Terrific video I love hearing how wood working USED to be and SHOULD be still today I.e it's ok to use SOME power tools but the majority of it should be done by Hand. Otherwise, the Part has no character/soul, or Heart behind it

  • @SeanKelly1

I enjoyed this video's content but I have to ask, why would one shoot or present this in black and white? It look slike the chormanance has simply been stripped out with no consideration to compensating with greater contrast.
In an environment where there must be some substantive chromatic texture, where you are looking at finished wood pieces, this is simply odd and distracting. I wanted to see those colors and textures. That you've not stripped the color out of the paid product doesn't reduce my frustration.
I do enjoy the conversational style and your prowess as an interviewer.
