  • Here is a commercial break from an episode of "The Looney Tunes Show" featuring a "premiere" of "Duck Dodgers". The episode that aired here was "The Trial of Duck Dodgers", which was the pilot episode of the series, which premiered in late August 2003, but going by promos listed below, I think this was a rerun on "The Looney Tunes Show" in early September, 2003.
    Included here:
    1. "Duck Dodgers" promo ("Brand new, premiering next").
    2. Duckdodgers.com website promo (part of Cartoon Orbit, a children's gaming online platform tied to CartoonNetwork.com)
    3. "The Looney Tunes Show" bumper (with "Duck Dodgers" inserted in)
    4. The Bugs Bunny WB intro (this aired right before the start of the episode)
    5. Duck Dodgers/Looney Tunes Show bumper (this was the start of the commercial break)
    6. Sunday morning line-up promo (featuring Dexter's Laboratory, Codename: Kids' Next Door, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Ed Edd n Eddy). That's just a beautiful line-up of shows.
    7. McDonalds commercial (featuring Ronald McDonald in "Put a Smile On" jingle).
    8. Rice Krispies Cereal commercial (featuring Snap, Crackle & Pop singing "Who We Are"). Well, it....certainly sounds like early 2000's Punk Rock. Kinda.
    9. "Bulls-Eye Ball" toy commercial
    10. Walmart Supercenter commercial
    11. Duck Dodgers/ Looney Tunes Show bumper (back to the show)
    12. "The Looney Tunes Show" end bumper ("We'll have more Looney Tunes and Duck Dodgers for you next Saturday!")
    13. "Duck Dodgers" episode promo (for Episode 4: "Duck Codgers"). "All New, Next Saturday!" Well, the "Duck Codgers" episode premiered on September 13th, so this is likely September 6th, 2003.
    14. Cartoon Network "Coming up Next" bumper (featuring "Teen Titans" and "Justice League").
The recording ends right after that.
Commentary: In regards to that McDonalds commercial, I'll point out this is right before the "Ba Da Da Ba Ba! I'm Loving It!" line of commercials premiered, just a few weeks later in late September 2003. The change to the "I'm Loving It!" line of marketing marked the start of the decline of using Ronald McDonald in commercials. The famous clown was still around periodically, but used less and less, until being discontinued in the mid 2010's (in favor of the "Happy the Happy Meal" mascot).
So I look at the Ronald McDonald commercial featured here as one of the last before the start of the decline. This is somewhat the "end of an era", for Ronald McDonald.
    Stay tuned, more to come!

thanks for the description of Ronald McDonald's declination, I'm sure going to miss him so much until they brought back Grimace to promote his Birthday Shakes and the Hamburglar in the one commercial I remember seeing played by a human male! need I say more?!
