Fun fact about me n my car. I just got a 01 Gt automatic V8 (same as his) and when you launch in the 1, 2 Drive, with the transmission lever the car can lose control quite frequently, so I recommend to be very careful using that. The 1, 2 Drive is meant for racing as the care picks up some crazy amount of speed when using 1, 2, D. Disclaimer about my car it does have different tires on all 4 wheels. Be safe out there guys, these types of cars lose control pretty easy if your too crazy with the gas pedal

With your car being an automatic, a Bama tune will wake it up. Also, do a under pulley. Make a big difference on pull off and 1/4 runs. Or light to light. I think you already have the 373 rear gears. I think you mentioned that in a previous video.

With the way the top is, you should get a chest harness for the camera, it'll be a slightly better angle.

@@DerellesGaragesimilar problem in my 2014, you essentially want to attach the gopro to the head mount with a 2nd attachment. This will angle is down between your eyebrows but the pov is a lot better (kind of hard to explain lol)

I have a Automatic 99 Mustang GT. Is a downshift to second safe in this car? And can you go from 1 to 2 to D? Safely?
I wouldn’t recommend it but when I had the car I would blip the throttle before dropping it to second, sorta like a rev match . It would literally rev match and prevent any damage to the trans . But again not recommended rarely did it. As far as first to second yeah u can but again not recommended. I’d highly suggest doing a manual swap . Hope this helps !
Do you have any mods to make a little more power for an auto?
If you watch some of my other videos i mention a few . Mostly Bolt ons . However I no longer have the car sold it .
I am thinking about buying a mustang gt 2001 but I hear handling is bad on mustangs is this true or is it just people being dumb with it and crashing it?
Any vehicle with some amount of power is hard to handle when the driver isn’t responsible. But if you’re buying a car strictly for handling this isnt the best option. But its a fun car that handles decently for what it is , a few suspension upgrades and it’ll be fun to handle. Personally for a beginners car I think its just enough to prepare you for whatever car you want next !

is it good for the transmission to shift from D to 1st or 2nd i heard its not but idk 🤔
Not if done harshly or incorrectly. I Rarely touch it lol , but its ok to drop from D to 2nd going around 30-40 mph. I also blip the throttle while doing so it it kinda rev matches and shifts smoothly. Swapping the transmission for a 5 speed eventually anyways.
