Anyone who tells you batteries are worse for environment than gas is full of BS information. Remember is gas is changed via reaction in engine into various forms, but you do not lose MASS. Matter can change form through physical and chemical changes, but through any of these changes matter is conserved. The same amount of matter exists before and after the change-none is created or destroyed. So the weight of gas which is about 6lbs/gallon is dumped into the air and we get to breathe it. So a 50mile ride on motorcycle would be 1 gallon, 2 for most other vehicles and probably 3 for Pickups and SUVs.

@@rainer6565he forgot to add in the fact that the power that is used for the batteries is almost completely made by fossil fuels. Nuclear only accounts for a little over 20% soo either way you are burning fuel. the difference is, now you are putting the energy into a disposable, non-reusable battery.. sooooo much cleaner for the environment 🤣

I think it's more realistic that your range is at %50 when your sag hits 72v. You're not going to run the battery down to 62v resting, you wouldn't want to go below 62v with voltage sag IMO. Thanks for doing to video's man. I really enjoy watching.
Awesome range test. I did my long range test on my Onyx RCR with a PL battery at 82.4 miles. Normal mode and once in a while in Sport mode on an open road. Did stop and go in traffic in downtown DC and Eco on about 50% bike trails. Will probably do another one like your test on a full throttle and open road and see how far i could go
im doing a sleeper build this month with a samebike frame and then a 5kw nb power hub 72v 30ah / 100constant / 300amp peak BMS, that should do it

Big fans of the bike awesome to ride a roller put one day my friend had it I fell in love with it I'm a disabled person and it made my life so easy to jump on the bike and enjoy riding the whole day battery lasted all day I kept it on the low settings and iJoy going out I did about 27 mi what an awesome right
Have you ever had any issues with the Sabvoton controller? Mine just recently died and there were char marks around the + and - terminals for a while and it just kept getting worse. It's like the terminals were getting so hot it was melting the plastic housing of the controller. I got a 150a on the way now, but I was using a 80a controller before.

Good video, and like you said it was about the worst case scenario aside from full throttle all the time with no speed limiter. Instead of having to "be careful" with the throttle, why not program the controller to manage it? I have mine setup that way, and never have to worry about the battery cutting off. For electric cars, the environmental impact is a toss up, but electric bikes are WAY more efficient than either. As a matter of fact, many e-bikes have a lower carbon footprint than a person pedaling a regular bike! Turns out that a person breathing heavy emits more CO2 than an e-bike battery being charged plus the CO2 of the person breathing easier. I pedal when passing persons or cops, but if they wanted to they could issue you a citation. The limit for e-bikes even when pedaling is 28mph, and it's not likely you can prove you were pedaling without the motor at 40! Oh, forgot to say one!

How souped up can a super 73 get? I want like 8to10kw. Is it acheivable? Why cant ya run dual 72v?
I only have to say my cats name and she goes off on a lengthy schpeel to me, lol. It occurs to me that once you over a certain speed on bikes like this, the pedals become pretty much useless. Couldn't a simple clutch be fitted to the pedals, so they can then be connected to a generator, connected to the battery pack to extend the range even further. I am sure it could be geared for a greater input.
weight will also factor into that as well. more weight, less range.

Regen braking is best it cuts motor of when braking so you pull up quickly and safely get rid of that your pads will get to hot and disc. That's why it was invented plus it puts charge in battery not a lot but at least its something I turnd mine of it was terrible having to brake hard that's no good well in my books it is every one to there own thing

if in a bike lane and roads just do the ebike speed limit and open it up when your offroad or when nobody's around. same as speeding in your car that could probably do 150mph. legally these are fine if u follow the law or off a public road you can go as fast as you want without trouble

this is a plug n play display with the 100amp sabvoton controller. if you got the one with the 3 pins and no quick waterproof connector you have to wire it up yourself to the wires that match your controller

The thing with cops and high powered ebikes... At 1st look they think it's a motorcycle or mopad half the time and completely over look no tags cops don't mess with motorcycle unless you being reckless like me last night rolling a stop sign 🛑 than doing over 40mph in a 25mph zone lol 😅 but my speed was a assumption or "pacing" since they wasn't right behind me took them 6 blocks to get behind me and it was dark but I had a feeling so when I seen them headlights I was only doing 27mph and hugging the side of the road sure enough them lights came on I stopped kickstand down turned off the bike and got off. They ran my name but let me go with no issues just a Stern talking to on running stop signs 🛑😅. 2nd time being pulled over on my sur-ron with out a pedal kit

That battery you bought with 1000w ebike is probably only 35 amp discharge. The 45 ah powerful lithium is over 140 amp discharge for high powered applications. You can't compare the two.

you cannot and a 32amp with a 13amp battery. the batteries need to be the same ampage, you are killing the batteries, and heading for big trouble.
this is only for series connections? parallel it literally doesnt matter. you are correct in that it is best to have them at the same capacity, because then the load will be shared equally, but nothing is wrong doing it this way. if you connect them at different capacities, there will be more amperage draw from the bigger battery so they discharge equally, but other than that no problems doing it like this.
His super 73 is dead. Both batteries. You were right.
