I have listened to/replayed Amanda Gorman's inaugaral poem enumerous times sice last Wed. I am yet to make it to the end without choking up with tears and a snotty nose. She begins by asking where can we find the light, then ends by telling us the answer. " It is always there if we are brave enough to see it, brave enoght to be it." So Powerful!! Tears leaking again.
Its very motivating poem indeed. But will mankind actually accomplish what this poem is saying? Optimistic message is inspiring, but only time will tell if ppl actually accomplish these things, rather than a poem. But still it was beautiful
She hit all the right notes in her poem which brought tears (watery eye moments) when she spoke. I had no idea that her words could put all of this craziness we've been enduring into perspective and give it hope. A wonderful moment during the inauguration.
Am so happy for our young ones who are delving and analyzing her poem we all need this to sooth our nerves for the what we’ve been through and still going through
hands, it's all about her hands, weaving a story, weaving a feeling, a wonderful young woman speaking to the world. I loved it.
