- In today's video, I will be traveling to Cuenca, Ecuador! Cuenca (Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca) is a city in southern Ecuador’s Andes mountains. It's known for its Tomebamba River waterfront and handicrafts including Panama hats. Its central plaza, Parque Calderón, is home to the blue-domed Catedral Nueva and the 16th-century Catedral Vieja, now a religious museum. The Museo y Parque Arqueológico Pumapungo displays ruins and artifacts from the Incan city of Tomebamba. The center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its many historical buildings and its historical importance as an agricultural and administrative center
From Quito, Ecuador, I took the bus and headed to Cuenca. There, walked all over the city and visited: Calderon Park, Nuevo Cathedral de Cuenca, Mercado de Flores, La Plaza de San Francisco, El Mercado La 10 de Agosto, and Mirador de Turi (BEST observatory deck of the city). Join me on this adventure to the SAFEST city in Ecuador where Tourists love to visit!

Hi Jack, I chanced upon your youtube channel last night. I like your presentation - clear and informative. Just subscribed your channel. First, thank you so much for watching! Also thank you for your kindness ❤️. I began learning Spanish when I was young, around 10/11 years old. If you speak English, you will pick it up very fast. Varias preguntas = he leido que en ciertos paises del sudeste asiático tambien usan coco y maní en au comida, lo hacen también en Tailandia? Has probado la comida ecuatoriana de la sierra? De la costa? Hay semejanzas con tu país , en comida, paisajes, amabilidad de la gente? Gracias. Saludos desde Guayaquil
En Estados Unidos hay restaurantes asiáticos que usan maní, no sabe nada a la comida ecuatoriana.
