George Pickens led the league in yards per reception last season 18.1 and that was with Canada as OC and poor QB play. I can’t wait to see him with Russ
I can't wait to see him with Fields! like it should have been at Georgia before Fields transferred to OSU.

His route running got so much better in his second year and he will continue to do so. He’s becoming a complete reciever and his yac improved drastically. We all know he is the hands and if his routes continue to get better then no one is stopping this man.
One of pickens best qualities is after the catch his ability to manipulate the defenders angles, he is constantly running defenders into each other with cuts rather than jukes, he’s probably the best in the league at it
george pickens is literally built to be the best receiver in the league no downside
His ego may be the only thing he has going against him
I like his ego. He fills like he could be wr1 and I don't see any reason why he shouldn't. Just throw him the damn ball

He did well last year and he has good hands. It's just really hard to be a WR1 for an extended period without being a decent route runner.
Rd 1 OT like Mims (or OC JPJ if they like Moore for 1 more year at LOT), Rd 2 WR like Legette, Pearsall, Coleman, or Roman Wilson.... not sure which they like better but the pro day attendance and prospect visits to Pitt facility.
I dunno how they waited so long and still landed Roman Wilson- the guy most obviously born to be a Steeler since Hines
Malachi Corley would be a fun duo with GP
He has huge potential. Remember what AB did when they let Wallace leave. He stepped up his game knowing he could be the guy, and he became that guy. I am hoping this drives Pickens to be that guy also. I can see it, if he drops the diva attitude.
If Russ starts this will be his Courtland Sutton but better and if fields starts this is his DJ Moore and that’s an even comp

I feel he should workout with Chad on that route running. That with his own natural abilities wiuld be beast mode
Pickens can be the best receiver in the league if he continues to work on his route running.. he gives me prime Julio / prime dhop catching down the field .. he cracked 1k while having what like 60 catches I think less than that.. he can block when he wants to. And once he gets the ball he can make things happen

If you watch all film you will see him run bad routes, dog plays, not blocking, and getting unnecessary penalties. He has a lot of growing up to do.
seriously? the steelers need a whole new slate. the league has passed Tomlin by, and retread QB carousel ain't gonna work. c'mon, man!
