A Cheviot Wild Camp

Joined by my son ‪@belowaveragewildcamper‬ we headed to the Cheviots for a wild camp.
Having parked at Hethpool, we hiked to Blackhaggs Rigg, but due to strong winds we dropped down to a sheepfold just off the summit to get some shelter.
After we pitched our tents the rain arrived and continued throughout the night, so we both took shelter inside my son’s Trailstar and enjoyed a chilli con carne cooked on the Trangia.
Despite the rain and wind, it was still a great wild camp in a fantastic location.

Yeah, it’s a Big Agnes UL Chair. I’ve hardly used it but I’ve lost my sit pad. Enjoyed your recent camp with Hengist and the gang. Sorry to hear about your camera. All the best mate. 👍
