This is a very delicious Pound Cake recipe, it's a very old recipe, it originated out of Pennsylvania,
100 year old Pound Cake....
2 cups 4 sticks of unsalted butter , at room temperature
3 cups sugar
8 large eggs ( room temperature)
1 tablespoon of Vanilla extract
3 cups of all purpose flour--( shifted)
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of heavy cream
preheat over 300 degrees
cream butter and sugar together
until creamy
then add 1 egg at a time n mix until it's creamy
then add vanilla extract and heavy cream
add Baking soda and salt to flour and then shift the flour
I put in a angel food cake pan that is 18 cups pan

Looks good I scraped down the sides of my mixer while adding ingredients with your sifter I would do my four in another bowl it be easy for you then start adding to your mixer

Thanks for the tip! But.i did not untill it was to late that was my frist time useing the sifter and daugther was not.feeling well so i was trying to so she could lay dowm thank you next i will do that.
