By winning BOSS levels and claiming rewards.
@@ROBUSTLYGamerI've completed all 500 levels and none of them have ballista and the game will not give you a skill as a random reward. So its gotta be a dungeon, speak clearly this time, in which dungeon exactly did you find it? Green fields or Orc woods.
