    Yes he does keep his left leg forward but he obviously has good training seeing how little the blade travels after the cut. That only comes from training to make cuts with precision rather than making a wide looping swing. As you train with large knives your targets and swing will get smaller and smaller while maintaing the power or better yet the intent to deliver maximum damage.

    2nd rope cut was unsafe based on his initial instructions (R leg forward)

    Gives instructions n safety and fails to follow his own instructions. other than that he cut the rope just fine.

    Shame he forgot to put his right leg forward nearly every time after he said not to. Otherwise interesting enough.

      I guess its kinda like "do what i tell not what i do" type deal. The way he cut its fine since he cut so far from his legs, and he clearly can control it just fine. Its like dummy rule kinda you show someone who has never used knife how to, and you say "never cut towards yourself" but experienced knife users cut towards themself all the time while carving or something, but you just figure out safe ways to do things with experience.

    Talks about having the right leg forward for right handers then proceeds to break his own safety rule. HAHAHAHA!

  • @BushCampingTools
    @BushCampingTools Před 6 lety

    LOL, forget the leg thing whether he put what leg forward or back, using a lanyard is not smart at all. Maybe OK on that flat floor but when one stands out in the bush and the ground may be uneven, if you happen to stumble, and it is possible, if that knife is attached to your wrist you aint gonna loose it, which mean you have a really good chance to land on it and get stabbed like an amateur and become a liability (if you're lucky LOL). Mr Fisk might know a thing or two about making knives (I'm joking you guys and gals) but knife safety? Mmmm? Lanyards are to prevent dropping a knife into deep water, off a cliff, down a hole, working at heights (dropping it and injuring someone below) or anywhere where retrieval my be impossible or just ruin your day. OK- LOL, not letting go of it and stabbing someone in your audience!

    Oh my God, here, we go again, another proclaimed knife expert, who tells everyone to keep their left leg back when they cut through a rope, which I’ve never understood why anyone would do that anyway, and then stick his left leg forward and cuts through the rope or tries to LOL.
