I tried it out and although limited due to a lot of the features requiring premium membership to use, it's still pretty good for its initial release! But I do hope an option to export the animations in GIF format will be added in the future!
Some things in my opinion that i think should be added are audio, clear onion option, and change the layers to where each frame doesnt have its own set of layers or maybe add overall layers too, bc it makes it sm harder the way the layers are set up 😭
i knoww, I had this problem too but this is just a new feature and I'm sure they'll fix and add more stuff in the future!
@@val3mi hoping so, bc they are so close to beating flipaclip in my opinion, I'm still gonna use flipaclip for now but if they fix all that I'll 100% use ibispaint

I don't think a simple animation feature in a drawing app is gonna replace a dedicated animation app unless you only wanna do simple stuff I guess

@@Rockstarrrheart Well, there is 50M+ flipaclip users. This comment section isn't too big so Flipaclip would still be as popular. And, we most likely don't have audio implemented. So some people would still have to rely on Flipaclip

Something I would like to ask about the animation feature, in the future will there be a way for animators to import audios so we can draw matching the beats to music, or so that we can animate lip syncing. It would be so beneficial for animators who want to make music videos, series, comedy bits, etc!!

flipaclip is a great app. So don't say it's horrible. You just never got to its full potential!

The quality of Ibis is really good, add that on with animation and you've got an unstoppable program!

The update is out now and I'll say two things:
1. Why is it premium for certain sizes? It's not really good when you're trying to make animation in a 16:9 ratio or something, so I hope you change that ;-;
2. Oh and idk if you'll add it but pls add an audio import feature, that would make it a whole lot better imo

Its going to be INCREDIBLY difficult to animate without audio(this is my opinion! I know that we can just make the animation multiple times to make sure it timed well with the audio we want in a different app, but it would be incredibly tedious and i aint doing allat💀)

Thanks so much for finally adding this feature! (Flipaclip users are amazed to finally have clipping layers) although, there is one feature to help advance this, multiediting frames! This allows us to easily duplicate frames and delete uneeded ones! Another really important thing that would help is the ability to add audio! Once that is done this would work as a fully functional animation AND art app!

After years of seeing comments under update videos asking for an animation feature, I'm overjoyed to see it finally be implemented!!!!! Awesome!!
Gone are the days of drawing individual frames in IbisPaint and importing them into Flipaclip. XD

When I told my sister about this she was overjoyed, like ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC she was jumping every where saying "YES ITS HERE!!!" but when she found out that it costed money her expression changed almost INSTANTLY and she started having a tantrum haha
Ibis paint might be becoming the best and most used art application to date. I can't wait for this to release

Btw could we have a option to organize our custom brushes easiler or import/move color pallette easiler
There is already, just go to your brushes and press "custom" and there is a color pallete saved for you everytime you pick a color, just go to your color pallets. I hope that helped!
@@izumii420 yeah but that is kinda hard and what I'm trying to say is could we have an easier option to move/add color pallette since I just cannot just keep on eyedrop and saving it which painfully takes a while along with that you can't move them unless you delete or entry👉😭
I'm asking for an option to import an color palette EASIER since I just cannot just keep eye dropping non stop.
You should add a place where we can insert an audio so it could be easier to animate mouth movements or anything like that to the audio, it would be really useful!

Something I'd absolutely love is the ability to group a few frames together, kind of like layer folders. Mostly just wishing for this so that it's easier to copy it a ton of times for better loops. You could just gather up all your frames and copy em, or use them to mark specific scenes in your animation.

Im literally so greatful for this feature like- i for some reason am only able to draw on ibis as ive been using it since 2020, which is why i couldnt animate without importing images in the animator. I thank the ibis team for this new feature✨✨✨✨
