My father had a Kawasaki KH125 that I totally loved...
On my 14th birthday I asked him to teach me how to ride...
    I had owned a few Kawasaki's my self, a ZXR 400SP and a ZZR 600.
40 years later, I am still riding!

I am 63 years old and have ridden many motorcycles. I love the little Kawasaki Z 400. It’s perfect for riding around town, commuting, and short touring. It only took me 3 1/2 gallons to get to Yosemite from Concord, California

I starten my Kawasaki adventure in 1978 with a KH 125, in 1981 I bought a Z500 that was very Nice but 1982 I fell in love with the Gpz 750 and had it for several years.
Had no ridning until 2005 when family approved me to buy a new ride.
This time a Gpz 1100, a wonderful bike. 2008 I went for parts in a bike shop and saw the Zrx 1200 and ride that home the same Day. This bike was a Dreams and I had it until 2019. Now my finalen has ended up with a 2015 Zzr 1400 with 220 bhp unrestricted .
I am 65 years old so that bike is enough for me to have fun with.

I bought a brand new 1987 KLR - 650...The bike was released in... 1987...I wish I still had it. The KLR is definitely one of the Iconic bikes in the begging of the ADV Craze....I sold it to some kid who would go onto crashing it 😡... oh well, it was definitely bullet proof for sure. 🙏😁 I loved that. What? No mention af the W650 and W800 models carrying on the tradition of the original W1? I have a 2022 W800 standard and love it. These models are not hugely popular in North America but they are popular in Japan and have a cult like following in Europe. They are more costly than other manufacturers retro machines but they use excellent quality materials and attention to detail is second to none. Truly great street machines for everyday use and provide a very good replication of 60s and 70s motorcycle riding with modern reliability.

I purchased a 2015 W800 12 months ago. It's a long story, but I had no idea about them until I bought it. Wow! I stumbled upon the best kept secret in motorcycling history.
As far as being an "everyday" bike is concerned, I don't think that you could find better if you tried. It's like Kawasaki designed that bike for me. That's big praise.

Building supersonic jets , submarines helicopters ,high speed trains amongst much else they have an unbeatable cadre of competent engineers , their top of the line stuff is REALLY just that ,, as an example the ZX7R forks were the best on the market until -12 even though it went out of production in -03, they also copy the ISR alloy in their discs from -12..... a giant step!!

My first bike was a Ninja 250 cause in Australia back then was the max capacity allowed by a learner. Then an ER-6F, Z1000 and currently 2017 Z900. I love all my Kwaka but I think my next bike will be something else. They don't make mid size twin ADV style like BMW F 800 GS or KTM 890 Adventure. The Versys 650 is just not powerful enough for 2 up.

It stated clear back in 1985 with a 750 expanded up to a 2000 and is still in production in a 900. My Kawasaki journey started when I was 17 , I had a KC 100. At 19 I had 2 Z650,'s , one I sold to a aquantance which blew up on the M1 on the way to Donnington bike GP in 1989 and left behind a brick hut. The other i sold to my best mate for £400 i didn't want to sell it to him because it had problems but he begged, last time I saw it it had his wife's bra holding the back light on . Next was a GPZ 550 which i wrote off next to the hospital in Hull. Then when I was 21 i bought two insurance jobs GPZ 750 TURBO'S one burnt out and one nicked (ahem) the good old days of the early 90's. Then i bought a new exup in 92 sorry to lower the tone but my first new bike got rid of that after a year engine problem Yamaha wouldn't fix it . Then tried to buy a new ZXR 750 J1 I think it was but they wouldn't give me finance on it, so i bought an old GPZ 1000 RX rode it like my exup it didn't like it but the old girl did it, it wallowed like a bugger in the corner's and no stopping power. There's a few stories there. Went to Assen on that in 98 and that's when I saw the best looking bike in the world to me a green and white ZX7R I was in love. I bought a new ZX7R P5 in 2000 and had a four year love affair and got my first house and missus that year. In 2004 I traded it in for the new ZX10R biggest regret of my life. I wrote the 10 off after 2 weeks with 95 miles on the clock still running it in never had the bloody thing over 90 miles per hour. I bought a old GSXR1100M which I had for a few years till I hit a deer on with the missus on the back in 2016 I got the bug for another ZX7R Buggered the head stock trying to bearings in so bought a tatty ZX7 for the frame . I wrote that off in 2022 still got it in my garage to do up and put in my living room ( when my wife leaves me) I find it too painful to ride at my age so now I've got Z1000SX . I'VE had a few other make's of bikes in-between but it's always the love of KAWASAKI'S for me

Although commendable to report the history of Kawasaki motorcycles, this documentary is FULL of factual ERRORs. Do not regard this as any sort of official record of Kawasaki. Why even mention the market failure Sherpa model? Most disappointing video on Kawasaki that I've ever seen. And shame on you for not mentioning the supercharged H2 models with the world record of most horsepower from a production motorcycle albeit non-street legal. Bah humburg! Blödsinn!

Because in Europe in the early 90's the European fascist masters were planning to put 100 bhp limit on motorbikes so the manufacturers had an agreement to limit bikes to 125bhp to cut them off then after a few years when the 100bhp shit died down manufacturers started to increase them again i think Kawasaki zzr1100 was the first to blow the 125bhp out of the water
