I love your comparing all trim levels. Many youtube videos don't have that and its hella confusing with these trims. I wish you do more than just Toyota and many other cars.

Limited is the best just because of black leather seats. If XLE will have black leather seats it will be perfect car for most buyers. I am from Yerevan, Armenia and unfortunetly our dealer is offering Rav 4 with only 2L engine with CVT which is garbidge.
You can add leather seats to any trim level. I already added leather seats on an XLE 2019 RAV4 and the customers LOVED it!! jeff.....I'm glad you're watching me from Armenia! That's super cool! jeff

Excellent comparison, thank you. I leased a 2019 RAV4 XLE for five days in California last week. Very nice. The Rav is very quiet and smooth when at cruising speeds. However, engine sounds/gear changes are very audible during city driving. Not sure why. Maybe the Limited trim is quieter? My friend in the passenger seat thought that the RAV was "jerky". Maybe my driving??

Portland, OR. Love your reviews. Currently own a 2017 Ford Expedition XLT EL I bought new 18mos ago. Plus a 2008 Kia Rio we just got for a fun city car. Now..we test drove the Forester Limited, Rav4 Limited, and the Camry XLE (no Limited Avail). The Rav did not seem to have mush side leg room for a 6'1" guy. I really loved the quietness in the Camry, but feel a Rav4 will fit our outdoor lifestyle better when we don't need the space or power from the Expy. So far i'm a fan of the fully loaded Rav4.

Ashley Kowalski I’ve been looking to get this same trim and options. Have you noticed any quirks with it? When I test drove it I noticed the side mirrors vibrated a lot and were just kind of weird.
Lindsey Bertram I haven’t noticed the side mirrors vibrating. That’s very strange! I haven’t actually noticed any sound at all. It’s extremely quiet. It drives really smooth and the handling is great. It’s super easy to maneuver in tight spaces and narrow roads. I’ve only had it for 3 weeks so I don’t know all the quirks yet! The only thing I’ve noticed is that you have to get used to using the right force on the gas pedal to accelerate or else it will be very jerky. If you push down too hard because it’s a 4 cylinder it will jerk forwards as it can’t deliver on demand power but once it gets up and goes it can really move. You just have to be very sensitive on the gas pedal to avoid the jerking. Putting it in sport mode helps to eliminate this problem a bit but then you compromise on fuel economy. Don’t even bother putting it in eco for city driving... it is extremely slow to get going... so slow I thought something might be wrong but I realized I was in eco mode... lol.. Just a small gripe about the acceleration but it definitely doesn’t change my mind about buying one. It’s a great car and I’d recommend it. Just keep it out of eco mode!

I'm going to do a sort of camper conversion to roadtrip the heck out it. Shadownian - I know, right? It’s like 10-15 MPG higher, more fun to drive, and faster. No reviews yet on any real details but MPG is supposedly 50+, which is insane.
@@Photologistic 50?? No...the awd hybrid is rated for 39 mpg...but im sure you could get 40 or a bit above. The 2019 camry hybrid if i remember right gets 52 mpg...but that of course has no awd.
@@Shadownian the rear motor doesn't lower the millage much. Remember that it is eAWD - rear electric motor in the back. RAV4 hybrid, or Harrier hybrid, might be my next vehicle ;)
Or an option with fully powered engine and hybrid. This is top selling vehicle in USA, it makes me wonder why T. hasn't risked and added the normal engine (not atkinson) and hybrid to make it quicker.

Man, I can't wait to get myself into one of these soon! Initially, I was thinking of going new with a '21 XLE Premium, but after thinking about it for some time, I thought "Why go new, when used will do?" especially with being only a few years into this current generation. I must be striking gold, as I think I have found a few of which I can choose from that'll be fitting into my budget perfectly (and in any one of the colors I'm wanting), so once that day does come, boy it'll be amazing! Heck, don't ask me how, but I'm even seeing a handful of '21s that are already coming back to be resold as used, and they're still pretty much new as one that I've found only has a few hundred miles on it! And for a price just a few thousand more than one of the lower mile '19s I'm considering!
Really like the vehicle...thinking of buying the ADVENTURE model...need the towing capacity. The orange inserts and stitching are a nice touch ...helps to add a bit of style to the interior.

These are not available yet here in the UK (April) & our models are named different from yours and we seem to get the 7" driver display in all models it seems. UK Models low to high are : Icon, Design, Excel & Dynamic. Also the colour naming is different and only the FWD hybrid is available so far in the UK.

Excellent. I visited Dallas for 3 days when I sold orthopedic implants about 20 years ago. Went in September. I felt like the humidity slapped me right across the face!! WHAAA-BOOM! jeff
It's features are very similar to my 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I get 28 mpg vs this best city of 41 mpg. I have 19"wheels. Put on Perelli tires 1st thing. Sold original rubber on Craig's List. Nice ride. My Toyota is 6 years old & no issues. Mobil 1 every 10, 000 miles & rotate tires 5,000 miles. I don't care for the glue on the dash i-pad look. Hope that goes away in 2020. I always get a Toyota Limited or better. Will check it out this spring. My Toyota runs on EV for trips to local stores, which is Great. Gas cost only (no high maintenance), my Hybrid is very little $$ each month.

Heck, don't ask me how, but I'm even seeing a handful of '21s that are already coming back to be resold as used, and they're still pretty much new as one that I've found only has a few hundred miles on it! And for a price just a few thousand more than one of the lower mile '19s I'm considering!

XLE premium is a sweet spot
These are not available yet here in the UK (April) & our models are named different from yours and we seem to get the 7" driver display in all models it seems. UK Models low to high are : Icon, Design, Excel & Dynamic. Also the colour naming is different and only the FWD hybrid is available so far in the UK.

Excellent. I visited Dallas for 3 days when I sold orthopedic implants about 20 years ago. Went in September. I felt like the humidity slapped me right across the face!! WHAAA-BOOM! jeff
It's features are very similar to my 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I get 28 mpg vs this best city of 41 mpg. I have 19"wheels. Put on Perelli tires 1st thing. Sold original rubber on Craig's List. Nice ride. My Toyota is 6 years old & no issues. Mobil 1 every 10, 000 miles & rotate tires 5,000 miles. I don't care for the glue on the dash i-pad look. Hope that goes away in 2020. I always get a Toyota Limited or better. Will check it out this spring. My Toyota runs on EV for trips to local stores, which is Great. Gas cost only (no high maintenance), my Hybrid is very little $$ each month.
