Very cool to see my dad play...I grew up with him playing his sax in the shower for the acoustics!
I saw you on another sonics video and that's cool
Saw them play in Vancouver four years ago, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
dana lind That your old man on horn? Kooool.
I only saw my dad walk away.
Would've much rather seen him play.
Awesomesauce!!!
Just seen them live in Vancouver about an hour ago! It was awesome.
Saw them last month and they were awesome. Looking at this I thought they might have lost it a bit but in the flesh they are still as loud and as awesome as ever
Such a talented band
Super ambiance 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Blew out the speakers on my parents new RCA console entertainment center --SONICS forever!
Seattle's first punk rock song! I was singing this in 4th grade. then my big bros. told me what the song was about. then I sang it twice as much. grew up a couple miles from the castle. it was closed down when I was 12. only one of my older friends made it to see Paul Reveere. would have loved to do the castle, ON FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE CASTLE . Pat O Day quote.
Dont forget that they sell out their first record 50 years ago... LUV THEM!!!!
Que míticos, esta banda siempre será de las más legendarias del sonido garaje.
How cool is this? This is the real music.
Very good, but i saw them a few years ago in Paris in a proper live venue and they were really wild. They're really punky live
roots of punk
true
Straight Rock and Roll. The Sonics rule!
I remember that day... I was part of a documentary crew shooting the reunion on the Sonics and a Seattle based photographer (Jini Dellaccio) that did most of their promo material back in the day. It was a hell of a lot of fun.
Really cool I like their music thanks to have post it
Brilliant
So cool to see the play! Luv their entire catalog!!
i love you guys .. God bless you all.
The vocals are still cool
Well, they may have lost some of their energy, and a good guitar, but hell, it's still damn good to see them.
Go again Guys and give it the beans next time.
all people who gave bad comments on the guitar are either non players or fake players who like shredding on super digitally processed shitty plastic sounding guitar and cannot play a shit like plug'n'1234'n'fucking play that song... people that like to listen to dream theater and stuff like that... shiver... it feels so bad just to type that name for me...
yes yes yes yes yes!!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this is so awesome
Очень круто! Я в восторге! Привет из России!
I love the look the singer gives his guitarist around 2:25. "Long enough solo there, bud?"
SUPER
Damn these fuckers were old. Some of them are surely dead now. Sonics is a banger of a band REGARDLESS of where you're from. But they've put the nail in the Seattle coffin since a grip. Respect.
oh...ok. Well, I just heard of this band, and...I love this one song, because i heard it from playing Sift heads world act 6....
I still love this performance though.
I reckon they would sound louder and more raw in a proper live venue! Great band!
Shades of Captain Beefheart!
It's not "either or." I actually like both progressive metal and enjoy punk bands from all eras really. They express different things man!
@1964jazzbass Its fucking garage rock. If you're watching their playing more than you're listening to their music, you're doing it wrong.
The name of this song is deadly drug strychnine
how do you play this on the piano?
The guitarist drank strychnine
😂😂
then why were you watching this vid in the first place?
Where the Stooges come from.
what is up with guitar man. This is honestly one of my favorite songs and he just butchered that intro.
same chords as fix me black flag?? mudhoney
and of course you' re suggesting that those who wrote the song in 1965, copied from Mudhoney??? :-P
no mudhoney covered it didn't they
ah ok, sounded werid as you rote it ehehehe
Пусть ударник лучше поёт....😊
Я в шоке
I wished it was good. I agree with the comment : it's good to see them! ...but not to hear them. and I'm a Sonics fan.
The sons of Little Richard ! But too old now...
stop lying to yourself that's really poor...
Just seen them live in Vancouver about an hour ago! It was awesome.
