- Reporters Sydney Persing and Ariel Plascencia have been watching traffic conditions around the Dallas metroplex.
Already, we've passed some significant records thanks to this rainfall:
- This is the second consecutive day in which we've seen record daily rainfall at DFW Airport
- These rains have already made August 2022 the second-wettest August on record
- These rains have made August 2022 the wettest month DFW has seen on record since October 2019
- The rains represent the second-highest rain total we've seen on record in a 24-hour period, with the 9.02 inches reported second only to the all-time high of 9.57 inches seen in September 4 and 5 of 1932

Flash floods are no joke.. Been through one myself.
Don't drive in one. Your car will be ruined. Many electronic components are in the floor.
Texas is turning out like California
To expensive terrible traffic
do u even live in texas brutha? nothing like cali
@@johncobraconney7153 traffic is a lot like Cali. Houston, Austin, and even Dallas at times in some parts. And the cost of living has increased a ton here. Maybe not to Cali levels yet but it's not far off. Rents in Austin are comparable to California.
@@johncobraconney7153 i think he's talking about cost of living and the amount of traffic. Apparently in a few years we are going to surpass Chicago as the 3rd largest Metro
I lived in California, I currently live in Texas, Texas is nothing like California, yes traffic has gotten worse, rent has gone up. It's better than California
Why I left Texas mainly Dallas to many foreigners, tolls and I saw so many wrecks happen before my eyes it was insane have no clue how I survived doing uber out there for almost 2 years and downtown Dallas was the worst to drive through absolutely horrible always construction 🚧
Should have been titled wet street cause man to slip and fall.
thank you!
It's sprinkling and very dangerous people! Get onto a boat or a ship, because the sprinkling will continue to sprinkle. 😳
Hey Dallas how do you like our Houston weather?
The camera is so 90s
Mental patients....It's rain and a guy slipped.
Gee wiz, thanks for the info.
So cool 😆
Grade A reporting right here 🥴
This girl really did her segment from the inside of a car with no camera man?
You’re fired.
I dont see a problem. Would you gain more information if she got her hair wet? No. I don't think so
@@connerwhite5351 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 right?
To many ppl in Dallas it's gonna be like Cali in a few years from now
nah its not that bad
Dallas residents will be climate refugees living in other states in 5 years
@@justdrive5327 LOL!
I live Tyler Texas. It's even worse here.
What? Where? I'm from Tyler. I know it's raining bad but cars are underwater, fully submerged like on I-30 in Dallas?
How are you??
Texas lol
The News and Weather reports were warning about severe weather and rain. WHY don't people stay home instead of driving on the roads. People create their own problems not the weather.
Move to Texas fast
Is this cause by scientists manipulating the weather?
Soooo if I "play my cards right" I could be in a new car by the end of the week? 😀🤫
Get off the street! Pretty sure you didn’t even help the man who fell, probably just filmed it.
BETO ☮🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
I see nothing wrong here seeing how this is a republican state and they don't believe in global warming. This is all natural weather, just like the time when Texas froze over and your leadership decided it would be best to leave the country.
