My husband was someone whom I knew would die for me and our children. Now he's gone forever. I miss him beyond words. He passed away December 14, 2022. I'm alone and vulnerable without him. I’m going through a divorce and I love my family more than anything. I’m doing okay, I can be doing better but I can always be doing worse. When I think of many of you, I think that you may have it worse than I do. I think about my faults too. Then I just breathe, pray for better, hope for better and think for better.

My kids dad would probably die for me, but I've never felt truly loved by him. Maybe at first, but it quickly faded. Anytime I've been at my most emotional, burnt out, etc he lashes out. Gets upset/angry with me for being emotional. It's honestly been toxic from both sides for us. I needed to learn (and am still learning) emotional regulation. I don't know if empathy can be learned. Now there's a kid in the mix. All I know is at my lowest, I feel so alone. So unwanted, so unlovable and unloved. It is a relief that he is away from work for long periods. When things are good it's good. But yeah, between that and our sex life and not feeling appropriate intimacy and support, I'm just burnt out and exhausted. I don't want anyone to feel how I have for over 5 years of this on again, off again, separated physically, hoping for better, then being called a piece of sh!t and embarrassment bs. I've explored so many options, and 8 acknowledge my own impacts on him etc. One day, maybe things will be different. For now, I'm learning to love myself this way. This song went from an anthem of what I wanted, to what I wanted to be for myself and I appreciate it along the way.
I thought I had that. I don't mind being alone, but I've been putting myself out there and nothing. I've been trying to find that someone who would REALLY love me, ME. Not the idea they have of me in their heads. I don't like anybody. It's so frustrating. Starting to feel that if someone wrote a book about my love life, it would be a tragedy. It is what it is.
