- This is a little video I put together for the song Kindle My Heart, from the classic 1995 film, A Little Princess. I hadn't gotten around to watching it (even though I'd seen the 1993 Secret Garden), but then I was made curious after hearing and watching Pogo's brilliant and beautiful track and video, Whisperlude. :)
Even though I'm a guy, and the film is mainly directed towards girls, I still found the film to be very well-made and deeply moving, and I can understand why so many women count it among their favorite films. :) So this video is for the ladies, you might say. ;) Enjoy, feel free to comment, and make sure to see this film if you haven't already, because it's worth seeing. :)
Check out Pogo's Whisperlude:

also, listen to LittlexPixi's cover of this song, it's lovely:

Witnessing all of the people fighting for freedom around the world stokes new hope, and that hope can never be extinguished because God has kindled the light of hope inside of us.
I remember watching this as a little kid, about 8. Now, seven years later, I stumbled upon it once again. And once again, I cried at the ending and I'm not afraid to admit it.
Wow one of my oldest memories is of cuddling up beside my father and watching this on TV when I was 3...
It's the only movie I've ever cried in, and now when I watch it or even hear the soundtrack I'm taken back to a more delicate age, and thus 17 years later it's still the only movie I cry in.
This is great !! I saw the movie again and agin when I was younger, then I forgot about it for years. I watched it the other day, and I had to hear this song, thankyou :)

Nice to know I'm not the only one ^.^. And if this film made m cry, it really must be good, I don't normally cry on films - there were only 3 films on which I cried: Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, My Sister's Keeper and this one.
GOOSEBUMPS :D i love the photos, they work so well with the song!

Thank you for mentioning my cover, very cute video!
I can relate to that :)
The middle of the movie made me cry. Especially when that mistress made everyone exploit Sarah just because she wasn't rich.
This is it. The video I watched years ago because I loved this song. I've grown so much and I'm so different now but this is one of the first few songs I ever loved.

I felt really really angry at her (the mistress) at that time. I cried when her father remembered her and hugged her.
@chanchuchi thanks :)
@golorfindel you're welcome :) cheers to you as well :)
bitch please, you dont need to be a girl to count this movie between your favorites, Cuarón is a mastermind and the movie is flawless. I just waited enough until my little girl grew up to show her this incredible movie. By the way, you did a great job on this clip, thank you for bringing a couple nosthalgic tears to my eyes again. cheers.
Carlos Díaz Your comment is very old, but I just wanted to say I agree. This is the most moving movie and song from my childhood, and I hope to show it to my child/children someday.
