I am definitely not an expert on fish and not someone who normally comments on videos, but this video was extremely cruel. First of all, shoving a camera up in a guys face is extremely rude and unnecessary. Second of all, pouring your fish in a lake aggressively at a fast pace will obviously kill most of them. Last of all, shouldn’t you care if your fish are being killed by other fish when they did completely no harm? I don’t understand why someone would do something like this.

Shaun Woolman Only Americans call goldfish feeder fish, to humane nations they're pets. Feeding live fish is illegal in most western countries because it's considered cruel and unnecessary, fish can and will eat a huge variety of foods so there's no need for it.

Birds or other migrating animals can pick up goldfish eggs on their feathers/fur and carry them and infest more ponds. If you watch snake discovery's video, she mentions that it is illegal for her to remove goldfish from a pond without euthanizing them because the fish and wildlife conservation wants to make sure nobody is taking them home to put into ANOTHER outdoor pond. They're such a pesky invasive species that in some places you can even catch/trap them without a fishing or hunting license. They just want them gone.

Goldfish reproduce like crazy, your small pond will be over populated with these fish and they’ll suffer crowded. There won’t be enough food or space for them. They’re an invasive species. This was very immature and careless. And the way you’re just throwing them into the water is painful for them. The sudden water change will also put many many of them into shock and die.

It's not just the ecosystem of the pond that is suffering from the sheer amount of goldfish, but throwing young fish into the pond by hand and/or putting them in without letting them adjust to the water temperature first is also pretty irresponsible for a pond owner...

This is the worst thing you could’ve done. You just endangered that entire ponds ecosystem. Goldfish repopulate SO quickly and they grow very large. They are an evasive species and they put off so much waste and cause algae to grow due to mixing up the soil so much. This was such a bad decision and you should’ve done research....

There's a few things that could happen with this, 1, they die from lack of care, 2 they survive and breed, getting bigger and bigger and kill everything in your pond, or 3, they somehow manage to get out of the pond and much like scenario 2, they get bigger and kill stuff, and the worst part is you made this mess, all of these scenarios are bad.
I find it sad as well, he was just not that careful with the fish or with the pond environment, i don't get why he'd do this in the first place, even if it was for views.

Actually they invaded the lake and another CZcamsr pulled 40 out of thousands huge gold fish out.
I had high expectations for this video. Thought you'd actually try to get a 3 pound goldfish, or have a goldfish pond.... You know, something cool like that. But instead, it was you using living beings like weights (shaking them up which stresses them out severely and over-all causing their deaths) and then, after watching 10 minutes of video and awaiting a gorgeous goldfish pond, I got to see you feed a bunch of fish to another fish. I'm not against live food; it has to be done. But why didn't you make it more clear that this wasn't a goldfish pond, but in fact 10 miniutes of build-up just to see a bunch of poor fish die? The moment those bigger fish ate the little guys I was disgusted. I can't stand that stuff. So why couldn't you have been more clear that the entire intention of this video was you going to get feeders to feed to bigger fish? Why was it labeled as if you were going to have happy, healthy goldfish? I get it, they're feeders, but can we at least respect that these are living beings and not shake them up like you did? It's ridiculous. Studies show that fish can feel pain, stress, and all kinds of other things. I am disappointed, RAWW.

It's just flat out wrong to make yourself out to be this great person giving 1,000 goldfish a nice home, but instead heartlessly drop them from high ground into a pond to feed to other fish. I really, truly hope the man who sold these fish to this person doesn't feel too bad. He was deceived, as is every person who has seen or will see this video from beginning to end.
This kid has a lot of learning to do. He needs to learn empathy for other living creatures, no matter how small. Just because they're "feeders" does not mean they should be handled this way while they're still alive.

It’s not like every fish he puts in there is hand selected to be compatible, it’s a varied pond, each fish has to learn and adapt to the other not native creatures, and new faces, and well as the different ecosystem, weather, temperature, and plants. It’s meant to have invasive species, the fish are used to it.

I find this video really upsetting because i feel for those goldfish. They were first taken out of their water and put into a tiny plastic bag filled with 100 gold fish, he was then using the bags as weighs and basically chucking the fish around then when he got home to the pond he just chucked them into the pond as if they were dirt on the sidewalk. The worst part was that he emptied them onto his hand before actually chucking them into the pond probably to be eaten by the bigger fish in there. I do not find this video very entertaining i just find this video very cruel towards animals. You need to think about how you treat others even if they aren't humans. Just because they aren't humans doesn't mean they can't feel anything or die like you and me can.

Gold fishes can kill or sicken alot of snakes and other fishes( except snapping turtles and crocodiles but huge amount can still kill em) and there invasive so they can eat alot so there will be a low food for the others and they can grow a foot long witch is huge and they can school so that means less food so what you basically doing is killin a local pond

I am not one who usually comments on videos, but this really annoyed me. How can you justify buying 700 goldfish and literally feeding your other bigger fish. I know you said that your goal was to get bigger goldfish but dude wtaf is this? You are treating these fish like their a joke to you. It would have been different if you had put them in their own tank, and floated them, and release them gently. Instead you dumped them in a pond with your hands. I get there is a food chain but dude this is disgusting. If you really wanted to have the beautiful big goldfish, you would have raised them up in a smaller tank/pond and put them in this bigger one when they are older and bigger. This is honestly very irresponsible :/ Goldfish reproduce at a very fast rate and if there are too many of them in a small pond there wont be enough food or space for them to survive and they'll die! I know its just one thousand Goldfish but seriously, are you that selfish? I have 2 Goldfish (the third one died at the start of this year) and Ive had them for 3 years so I guess it made me even angrier since it was my favourite type of fish.

When fish are being transported to a new lake or river you are suppose to leave the fish in its bag with the bag in the water for a couple of hours.
