One thing I've always loved about Jack White is his style on stage, he just looks good performing.

that night, on the 5th of July 2014, when it was announced from the stage - after the rolling stones had just finished their show - that jack white would be taking over drake's time slot, remains one of the most hype and memorable moments of my life to this day. there with my brother and one of my very best friends. all huge fans of the white stripes' and jack white's discographies as were - having started our own band "careers" in high school doing cover versions of the hardest button to button and seven nation army. needless to say we saw this concert from the _frontest_ row, of the _front-most_ pit.

When my boys were young they go to my car and take my Jack White and white stripes C d's and said there really use them and bring them back they never brought him back I bought each sick deaton each white stripe and Jack White stuff at least 3 times because they were always forget him or lose Them. So I had to buy white stripes and Jack White stuff like 3 × 2 keep him in my car so I can drive with it I love them everything They do. they're awesome.thay are favorite artists Jack is a all I need.

Jack White should be shared with bands like Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison, The Rolling Stones and is part of the elite. Already slated as one of the best guitarist at 37 years old.
Jack is not a druggy. I see he likes his wine and a little booze. This guy takes music very seriously and I am on that ride with him forever. If your not, then don't pay your hard earned money on his music. One thing I promise...Someday day it will click and you will see just how great of a musician he really is. Lilly Mae Rische (sister/violenist...love love ya) His talented band....THANK you for the shows and memories this summer.

he's not close to the league of Zeppelin, Doors, Hendrix etc, forget it. He's got some cute songs here and there and he's got some cool fuzz tones, but that's it. Calm down

Kaltrishpr Drake was supposed to be that night's headlining act, but he cancelled due to being sick. So Jack filled in for him.
mvhsm Thanks! ...and yeah! It was a hell of a replacement! I would not pay a penny to see Drake. That was like: "well guys, we can't have Mcdonalds for dinner tonight, but lets have this fillet mignon instead!"

I love this guy!!!! He's soooo good, and kinda wild, and so uniquely talented. He has this primal energy, borderline out of control, like you sometimes just want to explode inside listening to him! Amazing charisma. I was raised on Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and those guys so I know good rock/ blues, and this guy is amazing!
Never been happier. Just heard Rolling Stones at the orange stage. Then I heard that Drake had been replaced by my biggest idol Jack White. WAUW just WAUW. I will never forget this concert.

That drummer is a beast. I remember seeing them on this tour, several years back, and I found myself regularly watching the drummer more than Jack.

One word to describe this performance: primal. This is incredible. So much more intense and engaging than his studio albums. I can't wait to see him next time he comes my way, this is amazing.

Jack's voice is delightful, it spreads out a vent of emotions and it seizes your mind, indeed. It downright features the main key every artist should hold: he's damn skilled to manage so many projects all at the same time and he never gets tired, bloodily. Several people say he's a genius and I want to rate this opinion because I feel pretty relaxed whenever I listen to this hot and bright voice. It's because of a personal thought but Jack White takes me wherever I need to go: if I'm depressed I find out there's a song to put off my dissatisfaction and to cheer myself up; when I feel joyful I can pick a song I get the power from and this increases my craziness; when I feel nervous I need to chill out and Jack still suits my trouble by wiping out the things I'm furious for.

This is one the best JW concerts ever! This is before he got the idea to create two different bands. Who does that? Only JW! He is brilliant and I’m hearing strains of country music in this mix with the lap steel and the violin 🎻 and it all works and blends together well.
First, he practically kept rock alive with the WS for 10 years from 1999 to 2009! And now he’s saving the music business in general from going under completely. His music and band create live excitement that I haven’t seen or heard in years! Not since Nirvana and that was over once Kurt Died In 1994. RIP

Thoroughly enjoyed this and, as a fan of the Mars Volta, I was pleasantly surprised to see Ikey on keyboards. "Blunderbuss" is my favorite album of recent years, and the new one is almost as good. Jack is the man.

He's playing HARD, but still behind the beat in this offering. I've seen other videos where he took off like a drag racer and ruined the song. The mark of a good drummer is not only technique, but restraint. He's got it in this performance. Nice job.

Back then they used to announce changes in the schedule over the speakers before each concert, and all day at every show I was at people went absolutely fucking apeshit in ecstasy when they heard drake had canceled, and 10x that when they heard jack was the replacement. And I somehow think that makes this performance even more beautiful

Jason Craig My understanding is he said it because of the weak crowd participation in singing his line just before. It was the last (big) concert of the festival and most people was a bit spent after a eight days & nights of partying :)
