The fact that Hollow inserted the rap/prison scheme into this rebuttal is literally insane to me.
And it's real af. I been in that situation where an indigent older dude couldn't read or write and wanted to get a letter out to his family so I wrote it for him. I didn't charge him any trays tho. And he wasn't innocent. Judge did hit em with a dub tho. And I hate that I had to live to see all that. Hollow was on GOAT mode when he spit that Scheme and Pat knew it.

The reason I say until Hollow gets to that point, that the lead up is all freestyle? Is cuz this entendre sort of applies to Pat too. Or rather very PERSONAL heavy battlers like Pat or Diz. That’s a HUGE topic to get into and you can play off so many angles within it. To dudes like Pat or Diz? That’s like giving them a free all access pass to a theme park and it’s just them there. They can literally go anywhere with it

Bruh, this is my problem with KOTD fans...people always come knowing who they want to win before they even listen to the battle...I personally think Pat Stay is not that nice and consider Hollow one of the best, but even I can see that Pat brought some of his best bars in this battle and so did Hollow. This is a classic and a debatable no matter how you look at it, if you got a 3-0 either way you don't respect battle rap
Facts, I have Hollow winning but its no blowout or body bag. Anybody who says otherwise in any direction is a fraud or a stan. Hollow came with some fire and so did Pat. If someone says Pat won i would disagree and we could debate it but i wouldn't be mad at them for saying it. Again i think hollow has the win but it could just be my preference. In conclusion Hollow is the G.O.A.T. but Pat showed up to battle and anyone who thinks this wasn't a battle needs to rethink their personal values in life lol.

Just an unbelievably eerie sadness came over me. He had released that track just days before that and then suddenly murdered. The video itself makes me sad even though it's straight fire. 🔥

The real GOATs-- Pat, Hollow, Lux, Diz and Mook half the time lol... they give you everything. Performance, pen, laughs, bars, schemes, angles, freestyles, AND THEY WRITE THEIR OWN BARS. When Pat Stay battled Real Sikh, he was really battling 6 ppl. And he still got that.
But most of all, the GOATs are unique. You can read a Pat battle on paper and automatically know who it is. You can't say that about these new era cats. Those bars could be Eazy/Lu/Nitty/Top/Sikh/etc. Thats why idc who thinks they beat Lux or beat Mook... you STILL ain't Lux or Mook

Hollow tried to rebut in a big piece of his round, and for unplanned stuff, it was good, but he may have crushed it if he didn't waste time without whatever he had written. The skill is to be respected, but it was just not that great, and even if he hadn't, Pat *STILL* broke him in two with his third.
It was brilliant for Pat to go after his real-life integrity. It worked.

Anywho, I thought Hollow was more impressive here than I've seen in some time - but Pat was more impressive than I've seen him also. Not much for deciding a winner. Thought Hollows 3rd and a few angles were creative - thought Pat stumbled for a unnoticeable 4.3% of the battle but wrote more clever than I think I've ever seen him. Not a huge huge fan of either but was very impressed and grateful. Pat pulled of his 3rd so well also.

I think they can do everything other rappers can do wordplay wise (arguably at a higher level) but with the added element of it actually being about the person as opposed to just random clever stuff. This was a near tie as far as content and angles etc. so when it’s that close it comes down to technical stuff. Hollow got off his rounds cleaned with no stumbles. But man really close.

This is hands down the greatest battle I've ever seen. Both competitors came with their A game and they managed to rebuttal both warriors schemes. Honestly either one of them could have gone zero and three. But in reality. Both of them scored a clean sweep. Props to both these battlers this one is the illest. The only true winner? You! Always wanted to see these two in an unorthodox two on two. Lux and Hollow was legendary but I always felt how different but similar and well rounded Pat and Hollow were would be a cheat code and insane. Both incredibly witty in different ways and can do it all! RIP! Terribly sad and bad unfortunate but not many leave a lasting impression on so many and a hell of a documented legacy. Not just as a rapper but more importantly as a human. My man left his mark in a big way.
